I've got an old record collection that I've been wanting to play again but I wasn't up on the newer turntable technology. I'm a video producer so I'm familiar with Audio Technica microphones and took a gamble on the AT LP 60XBT turntable and couldn't be happier. Set up was so easy I didn't need the instructions. I just paired it with my Bose speakers and heard the deep luscious sounds of vinyl beaming from the 50s, 60s and 70s tunes. The AT LP 60XBT has a small footprint and fits in my record cabinet well. The cushioned feet help keeps possible bumps from damaging my records. If you're researching, do look for this feature, it's worth the added price. And since they are old, some of my records are scratched and skip or get hung up in spots and all I have to do is gently press a finger on the turntable's arm to get it to continue on. (Like in the old days!) I didn't care for the look of the suitcase turntables and from reviews I noticed users didn't like them because their lids didn't fully cover the record. This is important to note because besides your records, you don't want dust to get into your turntable or needle. For the price, this is an excellent starter turntable. The only thing I wish is that it had some sort of "stop gap" mechanism to prevent the arm from operating when there isn't a record on the turntable. My grandson is fascinated with the turntable and keeps turning it on to play! When there's no record on the turntable the arm will still automatically activate when the "start" button is pressed and the needle drags across the turntable as if it's playing a record. But I don't think any turntable has this option, although some do have a latch to lock over the arm.

This is an excellent turntable. It is easy to put together, is very light weight but does not feel cheap. It connects via bluetooth to your speaker(s) although may take a minute to connect. It can play all of your vinyls LP’s—45, 33 1/3 and 78 rpms. On the left is a button for 78’s. There is a disk for 45’s center hole. on the right is start, stop and to raise or lower the playing arm. The needle is a diamond needle which I trust will last a long time. The lid closes while playing LP’s, keeping dust out. The bluetooth button is on the left. When pressed it flashes blue until connecting. If changing from one bluetooth device to another, sometimes, I find I need to unplug the stereo for a minute, replug and start over to make the connection. I purchased the Bose speaker. I am theilled that my LP’s from the 1960’s sound fantastic on the Bose and turntable!

This Audio-Technica turntable is a high quality, reasonably priced unit, and I’m very happy with it. It paired to my Bluetooth headphones very quickly and the sound quality is amazing. The instructions are sparse, so do what I did and go to YouTube for videos on how to set it up and use it. I did have a small issue with installing the belt (it twisted) but it was easy to fix. I also have it hooked up to my amplifier for wired speakers, but it’s hard to beat Bluetooth for the convenience of listening to music anywhere in the house. All in all, I’m very pleased with this turntable and highly recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade from speakers only to Bluetooth.

bought for my teenage daughter as an upgrade to her cheaper victrola one with built in speakers. it plays records well and the sound quality is better then her old one. it has a start and stop button which is nice. when you first take it out of the box you will need to put the "platter" on (round part record sits on) and connect the belt. both are extremely easy to do. if the directions that come with it confuse you there are youtube videos that will walk you thru it. for speakers you will need some that are powered/active, unless your plugging it into a separate receiver or stereo. this model you can also pair it with a bluetooth speaker. i used the edifier bt1700 powered speakers. which sound great but you can find some for a lot cheaper that will work fine. the record player works and sounds good and is great for what i wanted it for.

Product is packaged well, comes with easy to follow instructions and I was able to Install fairly easily including attachment to speakers and I can happily report all is working perfectly. After years of storing albums (teenage years thru the 80s), I once again could listen to some of my favorites from early recordings by the Beatles thru Madonna and others which have not been updated or enhanced. Yes, there are some down sides, most music plays 15 -20 minutes, just enough time for a break and when finished I get up turn off speakers and go about my day. I love my other media devices but I still have to make that conscious decision to click the stop which really means music can play all day regardless if anyone is listening. There is room for all types of media in my life and I enjoy having choices. Adding the turntable and speakers was a good investment even at my age, Thanks much to the industry for providing the tools so I can reminisce whIle at the same moment, I can pick up my phone and take the music with me everywhere anytime.

I absolutely love this turntable it is very high-quality premium and easy to use. I originally bought one of those suitcase turntables or should I say record players and let me just tell you do not buy the suitcase turntables spend the extra money and get this turntable the sound quality is amazing you get premium features and it’s made out of premium materials you will not regret buying this turntable. I do want to mention that this turntable does not come with speakers built-in so you’ll have to buy some separately or hook it up to your existing sound system like I did! Now right out of the box it sounded terrible just like the suitcase record players but I had it on the wrong setting because it was set to that setting out of the box but once I got it to the right setting for the connections that I had it sounded amazing so just wanted to let you know if it doesn’t sound good at first make sure you have it on the right setting!

If you want vinyl & don't want to deal with wires

I needed a small footprint turntable for my bedroom and after looking at specs and online reviews decided on this one. This turntable is mostly plastic and almost felt like a toy when i took it out for the box. But my reservations were completely gone once i loaded a record and hit play. While the construction will not impress you, Audio-Technica still makes it clear they know what they're doing when it comes to turntables. One caveat: The catridge is not user upgradeable so there's no way to coax more performance from this turntable. Luckily, it does produce a very listening sound. It may not have the same detail of turntables 2 or 3 times it's price but if you're using its BT with a wireless speakers or headphones, you will be very happy with this turntable. BT is simple Press the BT pairing button and the lights flash red/blue quickly while searching for the BT device. Once connected that's it. Other than installing the belt drive everything on this turntable is fully automatic. I wish the protective cover is a bit taller though since my record weight puck is tall that i can't close the cover when using it.

    Great beginner Turntable

Pretty great turntable for the cost! I brought this because I wanted to get into physical audio merch and needed a better turntable after my friend mistakenly purchased a victrola briefcase one (which is absolutely terrible). But anyways it's pretty great for someone like me who has no real knowledge of turntables and for the price I'd say it gets the job done! Audio obviously depends on the speaker you connect it with but overall the turntable itself is pretty great. Honestly, it's forgettable at first when it's set at 30 or 45 rpm but it's not that big of a deal. The Bluetooth connectivity is really amazing. I currently connected it to my Sony STR-DH590 sterio receiver with Bluetooth and with that I just connect it to my bass amp manually with a guitar cord. So to go back to the Bluetooth, it works like a charm, just make sure nothing with Bluetooth is activated around it when first connecting if you don't mean to connect that and everything will be fine. In conclusion, it's a fantastic beginner turntable with great Bluetooth connectivity and great easy startup.

This record player is simply amazing for the money! I’m new to the vinyl world and im sure there’s better record players on the market, but I didn’t necessarily want to spend hundreds on a record player. The sound quality of this unit is mind blowing and functionality is smooth. This paticular model has bluetooth, so it paired up to my samsung surround system in seconds and no loss of sound quality compared to old school rca’s or 3.5mm aux. This unit does have those outputs as well if you choose to be hard wired, but the benefit of bluetooth is you can have this unit anywhere in the room as long as you have a power outlet nearby. If you’re on the fence like i was about which record player to choose, do not hesitate and pick this unit up! You won’t regret it!

I purchased based on multiple positive reviews and was not disappointed. Plays well and sounds fantastic when hooked to my receiver. My receiver does not have a dedicated "phono" slot, so I just used the CD one instead, since I never use CD's anymore. Works fine. Put the whole setup on my desk, as shown in pictures with this review. This is not a bluetooth version, which is fine, as I just connected directly to my receiver as shown in the photo. Be sure to have some headphones to bring out the sound correctly. I especially like the automatic button control that is missing from the more expensive Audio Technica turntable. Just push a button to either stop or start and the unit returns the tone arm once album complete. Also has a separate button raise and lower the tone arm to stop and start as well as place anywhere on the record and lower safely. Note that this plays 33 and 45 speed but not 78, in case you want to play very old vintage records (which I don't). Its been years since I have listened to music with "cracks" and "scratches" inherent in old records and I love it! Don't let the low price scare you. This is a quality machine and super easy to use. Plays well with no adjustments needed.

Great Quality Affordable Vinyl Spinner Review

I've gone five years apart from my records, and when I finally was reunited I dreaded playing on my decades-old $50 Philips plastic piece - the stylus had become a rusty scythe. So I shopped around for a mid-tier vinyl player and based on reviews, price, and design I went with this ATLP60XBT. And I'm hearing my records again in such clean, beautiful sound waves! The setup was simple, basically you just have to connect the detachable platter to the motor via an easy-to-use ribbon. I love watching it spin, and the auto-stop feature is nice for setting and forgetting your Russian folk albums, or whatever else you might be half-listening to as you go about your home doing chores. I'd say if you want a great belt-drive player and aren't ready to spend +$500 then you would not regret getting this one!

Great record player, especially if it’s your first. Affordable and high quality with an easy setup. I had everything working within a few minutes and only minimal assembly was required. Sound is superb and the Bluetooth technology is quite convenient. I have a small speaker and the tech allowed for a wireless setup which was ideal for my minimalist preference. Highly recommended.

I LOVE this turntable! Connects effortlessly to our Polk soundbar, and makes even the most worn records in our collection sound great. Haven’t tried the wired connection yet (and probably will never) as the Bluetooth works that well. High end audiophiles may find some flaws, but this is an excellent entry point to great sounding records. Ditch the junk aesthetic suitcase players and invest in one of these instead. (And don’t forget to clean your records & stylus, also makes a huge difference!)

This has been a beautiful machine that brings my family together without a screen involved, just music and dance. Our 7 year old has learned (respectfully so) how to load a record and play. It's allowed us all to enjoy time with each other. My husband is especially happy with this, as he's thankful to make listening to music more of an active activity and it lets him appreciate the bands he loves all the more. We would highly recommend this device for any audiophiles out there or families looking for a solid way to connect with each other and with the art of music.

I wanted to upgrade my vinyl setup so I bought myself this record player. It blew my expectations out of the water! It is so easy to set up and get started. I love the built in dust cover, especially with my shedding golden retriever. The atuomatic start and stop works so well and has been an absolute game changer! Also comes with a switch to choose between a 7 inch or 12 inch record! Bluetooth works fast and with ease. Could not recommend anything more!!

A great turntable for an even better price. The stepup from the ATLP60 is even better, and truly is great for the price. It’s a great record player for someone who isn’t new when it comes to records, but isn’t exactly a “veteran” either. A very good record player. I use a pair of powered logitech speakers with this turntable and it sounds great. The preamp is a great convenience and makes things a little less expensive. Would 100% recommend.

Upgrading from my suitcase record player to this was a life changer. The audio quality was so much better and I am no longer worried about scratching/ruining my records. Connecting my speakers to bluetooth was easy and the buttons allow for different functions. It is compatible with 12 inch/7 inch or 33 1/3 rpm/45 rpm. Stopping, starting, or pausing the record can be done as well by simply push the corresponding button. I highly recommend this to anyone who is adores vinyl and is looking for a great player.

In short, a really nice record player. Works smoothly, all you have to do is place your vinyl in the right position and the pin moves by itself. The quality of the player is adjustable in both speed and sound- controlled by knobs on the front. The soft base for the vinyl is also adjustable allowing for different sizes to be used! Heads up!! Because this player is blutooth, sound becomes a variable depending on your audio output. I'd recommend getting a good speaker or good blutooth headphones if you don't have any.
