Tone arm stopped working after 2 months

This model is pretty cheap plastic construction, the cartridge is a pain to put on/change, and the tonearm stopped working after 2 months. Complete waste of money in my opinion

Good at first, then skip skip skip

I thought it was possibly poor record pressings but I've since tried all of my records on another turntable I bought (Crosley C100BT) and they play without errors. Seems like this player is VERY sensitive to certain types of records. Not having an adjustable counterweight and anti-skate ended up being a huge hindrance to the playability of my BRAND NEW records. The Crosley C100BT is much better option at this price point.

I found the exact same model etc. for $50 less the following day. Just didn't want to be bothered to go back to the store for a refund. Now that I think about it I really should have. I will think twice in the future about making any purchases.
