IMO, this sounds just as good as anything under $400. You can't upgrade much, but that's fine. Automatic return is a bonus.

Great affordable turntable

The main downside to this turntable is the lack of a ground. I had a terrible buzzing coming when I used the 3.5mm audio out, so I purchased an inexpensive ground loop isolator, and problem solved. Simple operation--I even trust my kids to play records with this one!

Great but arrived with no needle.

I loved it so much I got one for my Mom for Christmas. I left off one star because when she went to open it, it had no needle. Best Buy has not been helpful about getting me a replacement part.
