    Great Turntable for an audiophile

Did a lot of research into this turntable and have some friends in the music industry who said this was a great turntable for the value. Even when I was checking out at the store, a sound engineer says compared to his thousand dollar plus tables, the AT-120 is still his go to turntable.

Works amazing if you’re looking to go further with vinyl than just a Crosley/Victrola or the AT-LP60

I am sure some more expensive turntables supply more options but for the cost, this is an excellent turntable with all the features I needed and more, The built in line amp allows connection to any receiver. The supplied software was easy to install but I haven't had an opportunity to utilize it as of yet.

After years of procrastinating, I decided to purchase the AT-LP120-USB. I was amazed it had the look and the same features(except the USB feature) as my Technics turntable.. I was happy that it was on sale during Black Friday and cyber Monday sales. I jumped on it immediately. I have a large vinyl collection from 1970's to 1990's. I'm glad vinyl is widely available now. As Nick Cage said in The Rock "they sound better".

Got this to replace my older one. It works GREAT, but a word to the wise, if your newer receiver doesn't have a phonograph plug to go into from your old turntable (phono plug) it probably lacks a preamp and it will just give you a fraction of volume you're suppose to get.

works well with my old Techic turntable needles that i have and and also the program that comes with it, helps to convert my vinyl to mp3 or mp4 is definatly a plus. the software alone allows you to create different projects and mixes

After waiting a long time my unit was DOA.

After waiting an exceptionally long time to get the AT-LP120-USB in black shipped to a Best Buy store I finally got it home and spent some time setting it up. I was a bit skeptical of this Technics knock-off but decided to give it a shot since it was such a good price and came with a half-way decent cartridge. Unfortunately my skepticism was confirmed. Upon finally getting getting it ready to play a record I powered it up only to find that there was something wrong with the motor or possibly spindle bearing or both. This was not just a motor hum that some have complained about with these units but loud grating noise. There was obviously something REALLY wrong here. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed as this thing took some effort to unpack and set up properly. Silly me for daring to assume that they would put a good motor in a DJ deck right? After packing it back up I returned for a full refund. My advice is to save your money and buy the Pioneer PLX-1000 while you still can and don't waste a single moment on this imitation. The Pioneer is MUCH better made and does not have the USB output and built in preamp which has been proven to degrade sound quality in the AT-LP120. The Pioneer is a serious machine for the serious DJ and audiophile.

Great turntable. Has typical phono out and also line out. 33.3, 45, and 78 rpm. Plays LPs in reverse, "turn me on dead man"! Crystal rpm lock or manual lock. USB out, but needs supplied software. Won't plug into amplifier USB and work. I would highly recommend this turntable to everyone!!!

Outstanding Mid-Tier Record Player for the money

I've burned through a few different record players lately, mainly belt driven ones. I won't belabor the differences between direct and belt driven drives, but I have to say it is much easier to control pitch modulation and arm weight subtleties on this model.

well i looked at all the bargans out there and nothing compared. And then I had some bonus cast which made it even cheaper. And going to the store was a snap (saving even more on no shipping costs). Lastly, with that price I was certain it was refurbished but it was brand new.

Needed a way to convert dozens of 45rpm & 33rpm vinyl discs to digital format, and this turntable has done the job. Software is not the best, instructions were useless, but by going online I was able to find YouTube videos that got things up and running.
