Hard to get the sensitive arm set to play, It took an excessive amount of time to do ...45 minutes. Don't like the fact that when record is over it does not have automatic shut off switch. It is a smart looking item. Have not tried other turntables to make a good comparison.

Works well as promised. Setting need changes to be compatible with Windows 10.

Entered store to purchase turntable for dorm room! (Limited space). Salesperson suggested buying turntable with all the bells and whistles, and never mentioned does not have built in speakers, the unit would be an add on for component setup! Lovely turntable, but not what I was looking for!

The set up is a little work, not bad, but not out of the box ready.

I am extremely disappointed in this product. After buying 3, yes you read that right 3, and having to return the first two due to a severely warped platter and inoperable RCA cables, I finally found one that seemed to not have any issues, after seeing many reviews about finding decent ones I really wanted to give this player a chance. The third one seemed to be THE one, the RCA cables worked fine, the platter was not warped and the unit worked great....... For the first 15 days, then started developing a severe hum, at first just noticeable when no records were playing but the unit was on. Eventually that hum began to grow in intensity and started to be heard over the sounds of the record that was playing. After running many tests to attempt to find out if it was a ground loop or strong magnetic field causing the problem, I was able to find out it was neither, but rather the quality of the RCA cables that are hardwired into the TT so there is no chance of changing them to fix the problem without saudering new cables to the CPU board. The whole issue came to a head 18 days after my purchase, 3 days after being able to return it, so now I must pay out of pocket for the warranty through Audio Technica, or take the TT as a loss and buy a new, better quality TT. Do yourself a favor, Skip Purchasing this TT entirely if you are an Audiophile, if you want something to just play records this is for you, if you want sound quality and reliability, buy something better or find yourself a used SL 1200.
