Tried 2 with no luck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I so wanted this turntable to work as it is a sturdy piece. The problem I had with both of them was the white connector was giving me a bad output. I suggest that the outputs not be hardwired in. Wound up going to the lower priced Bluetooth model.

I had to return it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The one I bought had an audibly noisy turntable drive which generated unacceptable rumble. It may be may be OK for certain uses and certain types of music, but I bought it to transcribe classical music LPs to CD and the rumble made that a non-starter.

Had to return Audio Technica LS 120 turntable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Turntable lever moved on its own and had to keep re-adjusting numerous times and became frustrating. Returned back to best buy to explain what was wrong, the manager overheard my conversation and commented he was have identical problem. Was rated #1. Thought it was the best . Geek Squad also verified. Flaw. Purchased different Turntable

Not worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This turntable has been on sale for many years now but audio technica still sells them with anti skating that doesn't work and pre-amp that is not wired properly. You can look that up on line if you need more info. Also no auto - stop feature that even the cheapest turnrables have.

Turntable nightmare
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely recommend going with a different brand as this turntable requires amp and other parts to work properly with good sound.
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from AudioTechnica
Posted .Thanks to a built-in phono preamplifer, the AT-LP120-USB Turntable can be connected directly to powered (active) type speakers with no need for a stereo amplifier or receiver between them.

Best affordable turntable on the market!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is honestly the best affordable turntable out there. This is far better then any Crosley, Jensen, ION turntables. Those names should be avoided at all costs. Audio Technica makes great products and I highly recommend this product if you are seeking for a great turntable.

90's TECHNICS decks just about reborn
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This audio-technica deck is sooooooo very close to the feel of my 90's Technics mixing decks. The build quality is amazing, cartridge is okay for dance records. I know alot of people are buying this particular deck for "nostalgia" but if your a pro mixer using dying Technics decks - try it. Weight is nicely balanced and if you keep the built in pre-amp switch off it is as good as a full bodied wine. My face lit up like a kid once i had the counter weight etc all set up.. Awesome buy. and thanks best buy for carrying more and more vinyl and matching Amazon prices!

Did not work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I arrive to Argentina and try to use it, but never work!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from AudioTechnica
Posted .If you purchased an AT-LP60 Series Turntable in the U.S., it is designed to operate on 120 V, 60 Hz line voltage. In Argentina, the line voltage is 220 V, 50 Hz . To use a U.S turntable in Argentina, a step-down transformer and a plug adapter would be required.

Good Value, Purchase extended warranty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good turntable. Direct Drive and quartz lock on speed. Really Brings vinyl to life. Has many great features. I really notice the improvement in sound quality between this and my old Sony Turntable. Has built in preamp, but I upgraded to an external. Slight improvement in sound. I did not purchase an extended warranty from Best Buy. My turntable died after seven months. Best Buy is not authorized to work on these turn tables. They informed me that if I had purchased extended warranty they would have allowed an exchange in the store, but since I didn't have the warranty I would have to send it back to the manufacturrer. Best Buy gave me a copy of my receipt. I am happy to say I did and Audio Technica repaired it and had it back to me in less than a week . I have been playing it all afternoon and it works and sounds great!! Kudos to Audio Technica for excellent customer service. If I had to do it over again, I would purchase the extended warranty, to avoid having to ship it away even though I am very happy with the service from Audio Technica.

excellent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Without going into a dissertation about my qualifications, system and such, just let me say that the onboard phono preamp shocked me as to how good it is. Install a superior cartridge, in my case an Audio Technica AT 155LC and use the onboard pre. I will A/B the pre with my Yamaha RX A3060 but with what I hear on high volume passages, especially in the treble, I can't imagine it gets any better. Pick up a second headshell and have your top end cartridge for your best LP's, as well as the cartridge that it comes with for your 45's, etc. It is easy to re-adjust for 2 different cartridges.

Great turntable, easy to set up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up after locating a stash of old records from too many years ago. Haven't had a turntable in slightly less than forever. Love how it sounds, the connections are easy to work with, and the balance of the tone arm is also easy. The cartridge it ships with is really solid, and I don't see changing it until it dies. Really think that this is a great turntable, a huge upgrade over the $100 options out there.

Best bargain around
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't help smiling about the other reviews. This is an audiophile quality turntable with a true high fidelity cartridge and stylus include in the price. You would have to pay twice the price for a comparable quality TT from any other manufacturer and then buy a cartridge and stylus to boot. This is without a doubt the best value for a turntable anywhere. As for not being able to stack records, anyone who knows anything about vinyl knows you do not want records dropping on each other causing nicks and scratches. If you want to experience the true sound of vinyl without emptying your bank account this is the turntable to get. Pair this TT with a decent amp or receiver (Sony DH130-$118) and a good set of speakers(Pioneer BS22-LR-$129/pr.) and you have a true high fidelity, maybe even audiophile quality system for less than $500. You could easily spend $1200-1500 and not do any better.

Best $200 Turntable!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't owned a turntable in years, and so I know what I wanted and what I didn't want. This record player is build solid and is heavy with wonderful shock absorbers for feet. I like that I can adjust up or down record playback speed as well as adjust the tracking force on the cartridge and stylus. My only con, and I knew this going in, was that this turntable does not have a automatic tonearm return like my old one back-in-the-day. This means you must manually pickup the tonearm at the end of a record or else it will keep revolving around the center until you do. Again, this is a very minor annoyance and more of a nit-pick. Overall, you can't go wrong with this table. Just know that it is a stereo component, so you will need speakers or a receiver to plug into for sound. (All cables and accessories included!)

Fine performer, excellent price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and works really well. I particularly like the tone-arm lift-drop feature. I must say that I was really pleased with the tone on the vinyl that i have saved for more than 30 years. I actually cannot see (hear) how one of the much more expensive turntables could do better.
