Excellent quality for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a seriously rad product. Sounds way better than any other turntable at this price point. To top it off, it's a smaller turntable (under 15" wide) and fit into my antique rebuilt cabinet that was nearly impossible to find something to fit, so it's truly perfect for me. Only complaint is with Best Buy themselves, who experienced delays in the shipping but put forth ZERO effort to update me at any step of the way until I complained long and loud. Customer service is a pretty important part of any online purchase, and they were severely lacking...BUT the turntable rules.

Rejuvenating my old LPs to Mp3s
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Speaker hookup was easy, PC hookup was easy, the price was right and the sound is good (as long as you keep your records clean)! I have a lot of LPs from back when they were the main method of music delivery. They have been in storage for about 20 years and then I found this turntable and I'm listening to them again - in the den and on my iPod. I can even pick up new music on LP - it's been awhile since I did that. A few quick and simple connections and this turn table was tied into my media-PC and the rediscovery process was underway. After 1 album, I'd found the software settings (Audacity# that worked best for me. You really have to listen to music on LP to understand why analog really is better than digital. Granted, if the album you are listening to was recorded digitally, it may not be much of any difference from the CD, but if you have older analog recordings #or newer) then this is well worth the modest investment.

Why did we wait so long?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After my old Dual turntable died, we got by with a Crossley all-in-one. But the sound quality was pretty dreadful. When the Crossley went belly up, we figured we'd never be able to hook up a new turntable to our old receiver - a 30+ year old Marantz. But lo and behold, this turntable worked and the sound from our good ol' floor speakers is great. One thing to watch for during set-up - we got tons of distortion at first, so I checked the customer reviews for a solution. All you have to do is move the little switch in the back to "phono." So easy - and so great to listen to records that we haven't heard for years!

Thought I'd never need one again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought I'd seen the last of turntables and vinyl records but after nearly 20 yrs without a record player, it was my teenage daughter who motivated me to buy a replacement (since she had brought a record). It brought back memories to hear the hiss of the needle running along the flat portion of the record before the start of the first track. The turntable sounds great and with the builtin pre-amp you can hook it up to receivers/amps that lack a "phono" input - and who would have thought you'd still need a phono input?

Works great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this entry level turntable to relive my teenage glory days lol. Didn’t want to spend a fortune but wanted something that would sound good. This product achieved both goals. I plugged it into my Yamaha RX-V671 home theater system. Plugged right into one of the available audio in ports and worked perfectly. Sounds amazing in 7 channel stereo. Actually, much better than my so-called glory days. Highly recommend. Now I just have to find some more records.

Vinyl Digitizing Success!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely LOVE this new turntable I got at #BestBuy last night. The sound quality is like night and day from the "cute" Crosley one I had that had built in USB/SD card recording. Well, that convenience quickly evaporated when the files were "tinny" 128 kbps mp3s with very little bass and a brittle (ear-pain) high-end. Yuck. I spent hours massaging the files in Cubase with $100's worth of software to breathe life and warmth back into them. Pfffft. Yes, it stinks to scrap all that work, but it's worth it. Quality is what I'm after, not quick-fix. This Audio Technica LP60 hooked up to my Focusrite with it's British preamps, means I can record the turntable as if it were a stereo instrument. I'm using 48KHz 24bit .WAV uncompressed to capture my albums and with the time I'm saving on EQ and RXing the signals, I can finally get my vinyl converted to a format I can comfortably enjoy on my devices!

Bought July 1, Stopped Working September 1
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This turntable was great for 2 months but then stopped working. I believe it has to do with external wiring. Luckily it's under warranty, but it's still a hassle to go through with the shipping, waiting, etc. If you have other options at this price point, I would choose another turntable.

Works as expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes this turntable works pretty good. But vinyl is and never was that great. People who listen to opera don’t buy vinyl because it’s mediocre compared to the CD. Sorry hipsters

Uncontrolable blue tooth!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We returned two units. Both would not connect to my sound bar but would connect to my computer speakers leaving iTunes and other modalities muted. There was no way or physical device on the unit to control blue tooth other than the blue tooth button. I even hard wired it to my TV and it still connected to my computer speakers. I called support and did not receive much help!
