That's find if you have a lwer end system becuase the cable will not affect performance. But with higher end systems, don't let your cables restict the system performance. This cable is upper end and the quality of the signal coming through is excellent.

I spent a lot of money on my sound equipment, so my comparison is not rated off of a low quality surround system. For picky people (like me) who like they're cords to look nice and who feel like the more it cost the better it is, then this is cable is for you
