It stopped working and customer service did nothing to help. Waste of money.

Hard to fly compared to macic pro, because it does not hover in place.

I read all the reviews for drone I could find. I was going to get a DJI 3 as a matter of fact I order one. Then I read about the X ster premeim 2.4 mil horizontal and 2400 ft verdcil all thouw faa is only 400 ft and men the camera 4g is great. It holds in place by 6 or more satellite I had no problems finding 12 it holds the X ster in plase like a Rock in 30 million miles an hour wind. The auto start and take off are grate. With waside And fallow me and orbit are grate and leaves me free to work with the 4g camera the remote controller is Second to nune not to mention the case is nice to. No sell at Best Buy for $699 that's $200 off just buy the Autel you can't go rong.

Picked it up on Friday and took it for about 15 flights over the weekend. Very easy to control and operate even for a first timer! Got some great video and pictures at various spots. Just ordered some extra batteries for even more fun. Wanted to wait on the DJI Mavic Pro to be in stock somewhere but glad I went ahead and purchased this one!

I started out with the 3DR Solo. I thought it was the bomb until that tree jumped in front of me. So now I was in the market for a new drone. I am one of those guys that researches things inside and out before I finally decide. Well decided to buy the X Star premium after months of studying on drones. I really made the right choice with this one. First flight I felt the 3DR was jus a toy compared to this drone. It does everything perfectly. Video stays connected, flight controls are very responsive, video is awesome, flight time is spot on. I think a big part of my purchase was this is not the drone everybody else is buying. There are a few of us that took the chance on a company that is not as well known as a couple of other companies and it paid off big. I really have not one bad thing to say about this drone. I really really like it. For my uses it is perfect. I recently took it to a party out in the country just to fly it, my son asked if he could take it up and try it out. When I came back out he had a crowd of people around him watching the live video. Out of that crowd of people 3 guys plus my son all said they were going to buy this drone. I know there are drones out there that go further and fly faster but none that will do everything this drone does as good as it does. I am a regular guy who works for a living so the way I spend my money is important. All I can say is I feel this drone is worth more than I paid for it. Seems like every once in a while you find a company that actually gives you what you pay for. Thanks Autel you have made me a lifetime customer.

I bought this Drone a Week ago and this is by Far The Best Drone I've owned I have the Yuneec Q5004k The dji phantom 3pro and the dji phantom 4 and this XStar Premium is now my #1 the camera alone beats the P4 and its faster ...

This was my first drone purchase, and I am beyond thrilled. Although I would strongly recommend reading the manual front to back before flying, I can say for certain that there is absolutely NO experience required to be able to safely fly this unit (and have lots of fun doing so). I started in beginner mode, but after about 30 seconds unleashed full control. As long as you are conscious of your surroundings, there is very little danger of a crash or accident. This thing is an absolute blast to fly, and even at the $700 price point, I think it's tough to beat the fun-for-the-money factor of this thing. Buy it!

I will be writing a larger article soon on the X-Star drone but you will be doing yourself an injustice if you don't look at the Instructional videos on the Autel site and read the reviews. This drone is by far the best I have flown to date at half the price of the other guys that will remain nameless. The drone has so many features and flying it is a dream. I am a Technology Analyst by trade and did the research of this drone before I bought it. Hands down I cannot say enough about it. Will post another article in the next few weeks after doing further testing but for the beginners "out of the box" it was easy to fly. The customer support is fantastic and yes they provide that 7 days a week.

Hands down the best 4k quad on the market. Beats the Phantom 4k all day long. Rock solid. Over 26 years in this hobby and I am almost speechless!

Only have phantom 3 standard to compare too...but this drone blows it out of the water. Easy setup with controller, have had it out to 3/4 mile in urban area before losing signal to interference. The return to home feature kicked in and the drone flew itself home in about 45 seconds. Overall this is pretty comparable to phantom 3 professional, but a better price/build/included accessories. You won't be dissapointed.

I did a fair amount of research before buying my first drone. After reading the reviews of and online articles about many different brands, I finally decided to go with the Autel. I have been very happy with my decision. It was super easy to set up and get going. I have since found more and more applications for it, including taking pictures for real estate listings my wife and I have.

Wow! This is an amazing product. From the out of box experience to the instructions and to the first flight, I could not be happier with this drone and my purchase. My experiences with small toy drones kept me on the sidelines for a long time and kept me from purchasing a legitimate drone to use for aerial stills and video. So when i took the leap with the X-Star from Autel Robotics I was a bit nervous and apprehensive. Needless to say, I was happy I was so wrong. First let say that the build quality is extremely solid and the controller was very intuitive. However, what was so impressive was the gimbal. The stills were crisp with no blur and my 4K videos shake-free. The battery life was more than adequate and I absolutely love the "return" feature that sends your drone back to you when the battery is low. So far, I've used my X-Star to film my house & property, plus the neighborhood. I'm looking forward to Spring when I plan on using it to follow my moves on my dirt bike and capture some cool shots in my old convertible.

Flew the thing into a tree about a 100 feet up at full speed. Made a gut wrenching noise on impact that compounded the feeling of dread that I'd just made a very expensive error in judgement... However, the rumors are true. The Autel Robotics X-Star is a rugged and eager machine, doing just as you tell it, even after I climbed the tree and recovered what I was sure would be a broken carcass. I reattached the camera, wiped off some sap, replaced one blade and BAM SON, it worked like it did before! An awesome, complete package that maximizes the potential for success and fun... did I mention its tough?

Love this drone. The only complaint I have is with the case. If you put the optional prop guards on, it doesn't fit. This is the best "out of the box" drone I've ever flown. Easy to set up, easy to fly!

Love this drone, can not say anything bad about it. It did come with a bad micro sd card, customer service had a new 1 in my hand in 3 days. You will not be sorry for getting this drone

This model has gone up $100 at BB, from a couple months ago. Price still at old price at Amazon and other stores

So I got my new x-star, crashed it within one week, on my 4th flight, destroyed camera, whatever, s--t happens, sent it back for repairs, $400 to replace/repair camera. I get no contact they they received my drone for repair, no contact regarding status of repair, It wasn't until 3 weeks later when I called they said "oh it's been sitting here for 2 weeks ready to ship back to you". Really? No one can call the customer? Got drone back with new camera and same SD card that crashed with camera. So the new $400 camera doesn't work. Why? Because they reinstalled the old smashed SD card. For $400 you can't install a new SD card? So I bought a new card locally, and the camera is working again but horizon latitude is not adjustable, I cannot adjust camera level. Worst part is that EVERY TIME I call Autel I get a recorded message, to leave a message and that "someone will call you back within 24 hrs". NO ONE EVER CALLS BACK. Extremely poor customer service in my opinion.
