Even if download and replace StartupCommanderEngine.dll from Avanquest website to fix not load Fix-It Utilites. I have to reinstall about ever 2 weeks becuase error popup say un to connect to internet(Avanquest website just say has to uninstall - reinstall to fix the error Ps; Avanquest know that error, they have not fix error with seen 2016 !!! This product is not made for windows 10 !!! Some (error or problem) could be fix with patch. But If Avanquest just make Fix-It Utilites made for just windows 10 would work better windows 10.

If you are having issues with your PC, all you need is Fix It Utilities 12. I previously had 2 different programs to help my computer run smoother. Now with Fix It, I can just click one button and it handles everything! It gets to the core of your computer that a standard user wouldn't know how. It diagnoses, fixes, maintains and best of all optimizes to make my computer run as smooth as possible.

I installed this product and ran the maintenance check and then opted to "fix" all problems. I then did a restart only to find no files under documents, no programs viewable from the start menu, no programs shown in Add/Remove programs. I had to do a compelte Windows 7 reinstall. I sent the software back to Avanquest and requested a refund - have not yet heard back.

Crazy amount of spam! I've used the unsubscribe link going back to mid-2018 many times to no avail. I emailed a request to Avanquest on January 1, 2019 to be removed and "Joy" responded on January 2 saying it would be done. From January 1 to 24 I've received an additional 43 spam emails! Expect the same every month if you give your information to this shady company. Research them via the internet and you'll see a LOT of complaints. Be very careful giving your information to Avanquest, they will hound you to death and do nothing to make it stop!

I wish I had read these reviews before I bought it. I had the same problem as everyone else. Right after installing it (within an hour), everything on my computer was gone. I was able to start up in safe mode and restore it to right before I installed it. Not realizing what happened, I installed it again. Same thing happened again, except it corrupted the recovery function. I then had to take it in to get the hard drive wiped and restored to its original condition.

Crashed my New Hp Desktop and Best Buy would do nothing about it. Also my PC was Defective out of the box and Best Buy wouldn't replace it.

The Fix-It Pro was very easy for me to use. I tend to shy away from fixing things on my own but this software took me through step by step. I really appreciate that feature. Using this software has allowed me to feel confident that my system is now running smoothly and if I need further tune-ups, I know how to do it now.

Bought for my laptop and doesn't work at all. Installed on 1 laptop and says "fixing errors" & it doesn't finish. Juat runs and runs.

I have Fix-It installed on 75% of my customer’s computers. It is a very powerful suite of tools that makes it very simple to keep the machine running at top performance. Windows creates restore points that allow you to “undo” changes or fix issues. That’s all fine and dandy, but how is that supposed to help you if the machine wont boot? The Fix-IT disk boots into the recovery commander that allows you to access check points made by Fix-It and Windows restore points. The use of that feature just one time can save you hundreds of dollars re-installing a system. Utilities like this get blamed for issues caused by conflicts created by the leftovers of other products. These leftovers and the problems they cause are well documented all over the internet; Make sure you research the removal of your old utilities before you install anything new.

After installation fix-it message said startup commander was unable to read configuration for driver, Could not get any information on chat nor any help from customer service (on Line) they don't have a number to call to talk to anyone, After 4 hours of trying I gave up . This product is the worst I have used and will never buy a Avanquest product again.

After installing the software, I ran the fix-it and within fifteen minutes my computer froze. At which point I attempted to restart my computer and had to rewrite my operating system because my registry files were no longer there.

after installing the software, after a few days it prompted me to update it. after i did, i could not access anything on my computer, my desktop was cleared, could not get anything out. reinstalled the software and the same thing happened. will return it to them.

I bought this to help fix a older desktop,but soon after installing it my computer delete everything on it including all of its software IT DESTORYED MY HARD DRIVE . This may have just been bad timing and my computer might have done this anyway .WHO KNOWS BUT . off to buy a new desktop ( hard drive)

Unfortunately this software crashed my laptop. I lost all my files and had to reset to factory settings. Of course Best Buy's policy is tht once the softeare is open they will not return it. I sent it back to the manufacturer for a refund.

Product failed to fix/diagnose issues with Win 7 Ultimate computer. Geek Squad successful after replacing failing C: drive.

I didn't understand how much junk and how many old programs I had on my computer until I ran Fix-It Utilities. It found lots of registry errors and temporary files that I didn't need. When my niece comes over, she gets on the computer and downloads games. It has really caused problems because those games slowed down my PC and left a mess. I notice speed improvements since I began using Fix-It Utilities.

I installed this on my laptop. After installation all of my files were gone. Had to spend another $90 to have my computer repaired, this software removed, and all my files restored.

I purchased and it worked great from start to finish. I have used on (2) computers (Running Vista) and it has done, and continues, to do its job.

Product worked okay until it patched itself and then it corrupted my windows 7 OS.

This product is terrible. The software actually makes your computer go slower by taking up too much RAM.
