One of my favorite movies. Really cool in 3D. I bought the blu-Ray a couple years back. I got a 3D tv recently so I got the 3D version. This version isn't the extended cut, no extra features. If you want all that it only comes in 2D Blu Ray extended features. Overall great movie and quality.

I've watched the regular version at least 3 times and the Cinematography and Action sequences were great along with the plot line and acting; but with the Blu-ray 3-D Cinematography, the action sequences and colors within the movie seemed to just jump off the screen and make it that much more exciting to watch.

Starting the new 3D "boom" this movie is visually impressive as it is enchanting. classic tale of corporate interests over ethereal ones both doing battle and taking losses. who will overcome?? check it out to see! (if there isn't anyone whom hasn't seen it by now) if you have 3D is a must!!! Support the format!

This was already an extraordinary movie...but the features in the special extended edition really are wonderful. All the extra footage and detail the extras go into make this a worthwhile must have.

What is left to say about Avatar? Amazing movie, outstanding effects, great sound, great picture, incredible movie! Biggest plus with this edition are all the extras! Hours of extras that hold your attention and gives you a real in depth look into the world of Avatar.

This is a movie meant to be seen in 3D and it is a beautiful, exhilarating experience. The story itself is not so original but the movie more than makes up for that with it's visuals and action. I can't wait for James Cameron to bring more of Pandora to the big screen.

When I first saw Avatar in the theaters I was too mesmerized by the 3D to pay attention to the story. But the story is great, though somewhat predictable. It is the perfect to story to understand our relations with Native Americans and indigenous cultures around the world.

I bought the 3D blu-ray version to watch on my new 65in LG 4k tv (with 3D). It was awesome! I highly recommend the 3D version of Avatar if they have a 3D TV. You have not watched a 3D movie unless you watch Avatar in 3D!!!

I bought the Bue Ray Avatar extended collector's DVD because it was scratch resistant, had better viewing qualities in addition to my love of the story. I thoroughly enjoyed learning how the movie was created as well as the Na'vi language plus the written words to the songs.

This movie in 3D is a wonderful experience. The BlueRay DVD plays flawlessly on my XBox One Built in Bluray Player streamed to Samsung 60 in 3D TV. This is a great movie to collect if you have a 3D TV, just for the experience. No matter what, this movie will be enjoyed by generations to come.

As Roger Ebert said, "It is an Event, one of those films you feel you must see to keep up with the conversation." James Cameron has always been a brilliant director, and this movie is no exception in his toolbox. Well worth watching multiple times, you'll find something new each time you watch it.

This was a present for the grandkids for Christmas. They were absolutely crazy about the 3D and the clarity of the picture. I loved it. In fact, everybody who saw it loved it. I had seen it before it was in 3D, and it added so much to the action and the concept. Needless to say, we were all very pleased.

This is a really good movie. I like the story it parallels between native people and settlers in history. I originally owned the DVD version of this film. The blu-ray version visuals are much more stunning and the bonus content that comes with it is also just as nice.

It's a J. Cameron Film! What's not to love?? His award winning name represents quality work and this film is no differ. The storyline is nothing complicated, but the visual and audio are top notch. Props to the film for gambling in merging real acting with CGs! Hands down!!

This 3D Avatar movie is the best I've ever seen on TV. Even for people who don't like this movie, the amazing 3D effect will hypnotize to every body in the room. In order to enjoy this Blu-Ray 3D please make sure yo have these: 3D LED TV 3D Glasses that match with your TV 3D Blu-Ray

I received this product very quickly. was very pleased and pleasently surprised at the amt of info on movie not in original copy. On the negitive side it was sad news that best buy will no longer be selling DVDs The service and product has been great

Simple story, but amazing achievement in cinematography in 3D, and excellent special effects. James Cameron's is a visionary director and this is another one to add to his amazing career. The bluray is excellent as you get both the 3D and 2D versions in one package.

This is a definitely a keeper for Movie enthusiasts and those interested in solidifying their Home Theater/ Man Cave. I played it on my 110" projector screen and voila...no need for AMC and all that IMAX propaganda. The 3D Blu-Ray is amazing and the one of the few movie that warrants 3D viewing.

This film is the gold standard when it comes to showcasing 3D (too bad 3D is going away - just when it got good). The world of Avatar comes alive in 3d: plants and animals extend out of the screen and give a great sense of depth! And the gorgeous colors pop!
