I DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO SEE IT AT THE MOVIES ON BIG SCREAN SO WHEN I GOT THE CHANCE TO BUY THIS AND IN 3D TO PLAY ON MY 3D TV AND 3D BLU-RAY PLAYER I JUMPED ON IT, I STARTED WATCHING IT IT WAS GREAT BUT I FEEL ASLEEP FROM LACK OF SLEEP BUT WHAT I WAS SEEING IT STARTED GREAT

Excellent quality for this film on Blu-ray. Worth having if you are a fan of this film and watching again before all the new ones come out.

First saw at I-Max 3-D. After purchasing Panasonic TV and 3-D Blu- Ray player at Best Buy, I thought this would be a good movie to watch. It was Great - better than at the theater! Not sure if it was because of TV or active glasses, but it is unbelievable to experience.

Loved it all over again. This is one of the best movies I’ve watched in a long time. Great story line and special effects are awesome!

I bought Avatar on 3D Blu Ray because I just bought a LG 65 in 4K OLED and I really wanted to test out the 3D function, What better movie than Avatar? The picture was amazing, the 3D was life like. I'm sure that this movie looks great on all 3D machines!

This is an excellent Sci-Fi film and will no doubt be a classic for years to come. I saw it 3 times in the theater and finally bought it at Best Buy for a great price on Black Friday. Yeah, I would recommend this film to anyone who likes Science Fiction films.

This movie is a bit dated, but still holds up in the ways that matter. The entire family was entertained.

Good sci-fi flick. If you enjoy the worlds created in these kind of films you will enjoy this 1. Very visual. Had it in 2D but wanted to view it in 3D after upgrading to 3D equipment. Good transfer. Good package. bluray 2D & 3D from disc menu & DVD disc.

I bought this as a present it was an entertaining movie. The price was nice, and it was available at the right time. Buy it you will enjoy it.

I am a huge fan of James Cameron and seeing Avatar on Blu Ray makes it twice the fun to watch at home!

I watched the Avatar at home and recall the memory of enjoying the movie at the cinema. At that time I used to wonder when I can enjoy 3D movie for home theater and it came true the day I got this blue ray at Best Buy. After Avatar, so many 3D movie have been produced but most of them will be forgotten because there are so many of them. But Avatar is different, it will always the first. It opened a new era and will always be remembered. This should be in the vault of all collectors.

The bluray video quality vs the dvd quality is great. Much more details and color. Haven't watched the extended version yet so can't comment if it enhanced the story or not.

I purchased the 3 disc set, and I couldn't be happier. The hard case it came in, with the sleeve is probably the coolest BluRay I own. I've watched this movie at least 3 times since Christmas. I also have a 65" 1080P so that helps being this movie to life.

I have seen this movie before, but never on Blu-Ray until now. The difference is spectacular! The film itself is incredible to watch with a good story line and believable acting. The visual effects, though, are what truly immerse you in the film.

I loved the movie!! After I purchased it from Best Buy, I was amazed and surprised for a second, that there were 3 versions of the film. It was cool to see some parts that I've never seen!

This is one of the best movies and I have seen it several times (too many to count). I owned it on DVD (no Blu-Ray then). But, when i saw this on a rack for such a great price and all the extras that were not part of the 1st one I had, I had to have it.

Avatar’s video special effects and sound quality is outstanding. The Movie is still better than most of today’s so called block buster movies.

In addition to the amazing Blu-ray viewing quality, the set includes two additional versions of the movie with extended footage, a documentary about its production, deleted scenes and more. Even the packaging is beautifully done!
