One of my very favorite movies to watch. I have the BlueRay and when the 3D came out, I had to get it also, AND I am GLAD I DID. It it awesome. I would highly recommend this to anyone (Mainly for the movie, but the 3D is a bonus).

Excellent quality product. The packaging was a little misleading in that it appeared to be a Blu-Ray set, but that's my fault for not reading the fine print. The DVD picture quality was very good. Price was competitive.

I originally had purchased years ago the regular 2D Blu-ray of this, but since getting a 3D TV replaced that copy with this 3D version. This is one of those movies that is meant to be watched in 3D.

This is a good movie with lots of lush colors and the 3D is well done with lots of floating objects and depth. Probably my go-to when I show someone 3D, although the WINGS 3D might have been even better.

Only way I can think of describing the excellence of this movie is to say "must see it again and again and again and again and .... oops disk wore out from watching the movie too much. gotta go buy it again"

Was looking for this movie but couldn't find it anywhere. Decided to get a replacement and it was on sale at BB. Watched it again and was as good as the first time I'd seen it. Good choice.

I forfot how amazing this movie is! I haven't seen this movie since it first came out in 2009. And that time I didn't get a chance to watch it in 3D. I watched it on my Samsung UN65JS8500. amazing TV btw.

At first I did not think I would like this movie....Blue people, really. But the story line and art direction are so well done, I forgot the people were blue! I would recommend the film.

I always knew this film was going to be great and then next thing you know they come out with an extended edition which is even more awesome. Really great storyline to it. Can't wait for the next fims.

Just watched this tonight for the first time since seeing it in a theater. Picture is fabulous, but the audio is too much for my old Yamaha speakers. Guess what's getting replaced next?

Watched this movie the same night I bought it because I was so excited to see the colors in my new hdr uhd tv. It looked awesome. If you haven't gotten one of those tvs yet do it. It's a game changer!

This is one of the BEST movies of it's year. The special effects (3D) are the best out there bar none. The story and acting were spot on. What a ride if you can watch it in 3D, but still excellent in 2D as well.

I will always be a fan of James Cameron, but I won't always admit it in public. Regardless of the level of cheese and unoriginality to his core stories, his technical execution will always be leagues beyond the best. This was by far the best 3D experience I've ever had in a theater and the transfer to 3D Bluray is no different. Beautiful. looking movie.

Purchased to expand my collection. Awesome movie! A must have for any avid movie collector.

Watching Avatar in 3D was like watching new film. I felt like I was actually in that world as the images just popped off the screen. You have to watch this film in 3D to really enjoy the beauty of the picture images.

Such an original concept. Your transported to another world. The plot is great the characters are well created. The picture and sound quality is outstanding.

Ok, so the movie itself is only so so, but if you want a movie to show off a 3D display, this has to be one of the best. 3D usage is subtle and not gimmicky at all in this movie. Really great demo material.

You really can't go wrong with buying this collector's edition of Avatar. The picture and sound quality is outstanding! You also get tons of bonus features including multiple versions of the film.

Avatar is already a good movie, a lllooonnnggg movie, but still a really good movie...now on the other hand "3D Avatar" is on another level. If your a 3D fan like me, you have to add this one to your collection.

Probably one of the best movies for showcasing how awesome the new televisions are. I didn't know I needed an HDMI cable though. You'll need an HDMI 1.4 cable to use the 3D functionality. All mine are 1.3.
