I went to my local Best Buy to purchase a Blu-ray copy of Avatar today. As the woman was bagging my purchase, I noticed she put a card (the size of a business card) with the Avatar logo as well as the characters on it in my bag. I didn't bother looking at the card until I got home. The card basically said to go online and register my copy of Avatar to receive a coupon for the Fall 2010 Version. Thats when I realized that the copy that was released today was just the movie. NO SPECIAL FEATURES! Do they honestly want me to wait until the fall to buy this again just for the special features? This is, so far, the highest grossing movie of all time. Do they really want the fans to buy this twice to get even more money? WTF?!

Without a Doubt the MOST INCREDIBLE Blu-Ray Disc I have EVER seen!!! Cinematography, CGI, Art Direction, Special FX are PHENOMENAL! What do people expect 3D to work on a Regular TV? Get REAL! I like that THIS Widescreen Version FILLS my Widescreen HD 16:9 TV as it SHOULD! It as almost as if you could REACH IN and TOUCH the Characters. The Story is as old as time, BUT the Scenery,Creatures & the CGI are TOP NOTCH. Very Close to not being able to discern Reality from CGI!!

I have a decent collection of blu-ray movies now, and this is by far the most amazing looking movie I have seen. Now when I show friends and family why they need a HDTV and blu-ray player, this is the movie I show them so they can see what they are missing out on.

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The plot is great and the special effects are stunning. When I watched it on DVD I was very pleased, but then I saw it on blu-ray and WOW! I was blown away with the detail. If you must own this movie blu-ray is the way to go. It was selling at $29.99 but BB matched it to Wal-Mart's list price of $21.96.

What can you say about a movie that has it all. the photography was beyond amazing , The acting ,plot etc was all there ,Very entertaining. The extra 16 minuets mad the movie so much better, and a must if available. The only thing was when playing the extra 16 minuets it took a while for my player to load ,this was the only blue ray dvd that ive experienced this problem , so depending on your player may take a few moments to start.

Say what you will about this movie but I think it's a milestone. This collection of it has every version of it (including a kid friendly no swearing audio track) and has special features that are extensive and interesting to watch. If you've seen it and like it, get this. If you haven't seen it, where the hell have you been? See it, and get this.

Now I Had Never Seen This Movie And My Mother Chose It For Me For Christmas Thinking Id Like It And I Will Admit I Was Extremely Hesitant To Watch It But Once I Watched It I Was Hooked And Ended Up Watching The Three Versions That It Has One After Another So If You Love Movies GET TH|IS

I don't particularly love this 'kind' of story, but it was done quite well and the effects and acting were all great. We've seen the movie many times before, but the 3D exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds! If you are considering it, the MAY release another version of it, you know, a super-deluxe version, so, you might want to wait. But, if you find it for a great price, grab it, it will be worth it!

Although the plot is somewhat predictable, that doesn't take away from the amazing visual effects and stunning 3D animation. This is a movie that anyone can enjoy, and is definitely worth buying as you will want to watch it over and over again.

This Avatar collectors set its what i was hoping to be, Awesome.Yes you get the three different version of the film;plus a bonus disc with with a lot of great extras on it. If you're a fan of the film like me, i recommend you to get this.And for a affordable price is not that bad.Only thing i wish i could got it on blu ray; maybe later...

If you enjoy fantasy/sci-fi, you can't go wrong with this movie. The attention to detail is amazing from the plants/flowers, graphics on the computer screens, and wrinkles/marks on the skin of the Na'vi. The acting is not Oscar worthy by any means but that is the least of your concerns as you become lost in the vivid picture, score, and action sequences of the movie. So many extras to choose from as well. HIGHLY recommend

A previous person wrote: "What is the point in buying any movie (Avatar included) that is not released in fullscreen format? I didn't buy a large screen HD tv to see a shrunken-size movie release. No, thank you. At least give us the option of viewing it in fullscreen or widescreen. I have lots of dvd's that offer that choice." WAKE UP MAN!!! You want widescreen for your NEW TV. Fullscreen is for the older square TVs.

I saw this in theaters in 3-D. This had to be one of the best movie's I've seen in a long time. It had amazing effects, a good story, good cast with good acting, and great action. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone. Even if you don't think you will like it at least pick it up as a rental, you wont be dissapointed. This movie is going to be amazing on Blu-Ray I can't wait to pick it up!

I love the quality picture and sound of this blu-ray movie. if you loved it in the theaters in 3D and all that like I did. I guarantee you'll love in your living room in high definition.

Watching this movie with all the extended scenes made me fall in love all over again. The bits and pieces that they take out to make the movie Theater ready add so much depth to the characters. James Cameron's vision for this film and how it was produced are amazing. No less amazing is the bonus material and information about how to save the planet.

We all know this movie was long, however this edition can even be longer! The deleted scenes that made into the collectors edition were worth watching. Be aware that half way through the movie one must put the second disc in. I have not confirmed it is that way for all three versions this comes with just the collector's version.

This has to be the best Movie I have ever seen or been witness to Spectacular. The action never stops, many light hearted moments also. Imaginative and colorful, full of excitement at every turn. The 3D in XD and IMAX were in themselves breathtaking, can’t wait for the 3D version to hit the store.

I would recommend this movie to anyone. It reminds me a lot of our history in America if you really pay attention to some of the scenes of the movie, especially when they destroy the land of Pandora. It also has a lot of relevance to the world today. Probably one of the best movies ever made !

Although I had already seen the movie I wanted to see it in 3D because I just bought a new 4K 3D TV. The movie was so much more enjoyable in 3D and I was basically in awe since I haven't viewed anything in 3D for over 50 years in a movie theatre with plastic glasses. Definitely not a waste of your money, truly amazing.

This should be your first movie purchase once you've bought a 3DTV. The visuals are breathtaking. The world that James Cameron has created is beautiful. The only negatives: This is not the extended edition and there are no extras/making of featurettes. That aside, it is worth getting a 3DTV just to see this movie in 3D. It's really that good.
