I was looking for a copy of this movie for my husband for Father's Day. He loves the movie already but i wanted "more" than just the movie. It's everything i hoped it would be. Thanks for having it on sale at just the right time!

So much better than the DVD format. Wish they would release in 4K, but this will work till then.

I was a huge fan of the movie when it came out in theaters and was hopeful of Cameron showing off all that he had done to create the movie. i am rarely a fan of the special features, but this collection is worth every cent.

I love this movie. Always have. Bought this because my previous disc was broken. I love the extended version and only play that one every time I watch it. It sucks having to change the disc after an hour or so but after a while you get over it.

This was the first 3D movie that I saw at the theater, and I was amazed. I have since bought a 3D television and I love it. I found this movie at Best Buy for a great price so I bought it to remind me of why I got into 3D movies at home.

... Way , Shape or Form !!! and in 3D !!! Like a sort of Fusion of Atlantis the Lost Continent , Battle For Terra and a short story called, " A Man Named Joe. " I'll have to get the extended Version in the future !!

This is a fantastic film with visuals that will make your jaw drop. The combination of live acting and C/G is fantastic. The story is good, a little tree huggerish but still good. The film runs a little long but it keeps your attention.

We waited for the 3D version to come out and were pleasantly surprised that we saw many things in the movie for the first time. The 3D effects appeared to be better defined than when we watched the theatrical release.

Since I really enjoy the movie, I wanted to purchase it for my collection. When I bought it, the associate told me it would indeed work on my DVD. Can't explain why it won't. I'll try to find out what the glitch is so I can enjoy it at home.

it's a beautiful movie with a great spiritual message. the special effects are incredible. 3D or not, this is one of my favorite movies of all time.

This is a good movie to watch in 3D. The TV Manufactures need to again start adding back 3D. The Motion Picture Industry is still releasing 3D Movies. This is a great 3D movie to add to your collection.

Got this to go with our new 3D tv. Unfortunatly we had to BUY the 3D glasses to view the 3D content. Other than that the movie itself was awesome. The animation and graphics were stunning. It came with a standard DVD which I gave to my son.

James Cameron makes the best movies; The Abyss, Terminator I, Aliens I, Titanic, Avatar are some of my favorite moves! This special edition package makes my all time favorite movie even better!

Excellent movie reflecting greed versus contentment. It’s also got a bit of a love story in it which makes total sense as it unwinds

It's such a great movie and as I was buying a new hi def tv thought let's get this movie to see just how good it is. Both the tv and the movie are fantastic.

I wish they would've released this version first instead of that silly movie only version. Just a plot by the studios to bleed fans dry. This more than makes up for it though. Everything you wanted to know about the world of Avatar.

Had not been able to view blu-ray discs on my old TV in full resolution due to an aging TV. Upgraded to a new Toshiba 1080p led TV and now I see what all the fuss is about! Glorious picture - and an excellent movie!

What else can be said? This groundbreaking movie took 3-D to a whole new level: rather than having objects jump out at you, it pulls you the viewer into the scene, immersing you. You HAVE to see it in 3-D.

My wife and I had not been seeing movies for years until we went to the imax 3D showing of this movie. We have been going to imax 3D movies ever since. It is incredible to see this in 3D at home.

Basically dances with wolves but with blue cat aliens. Though this is one of my all time favorite movie. This edition comes with two disks of extra features and has essentially 3 versions (theatrical, extended, and a slightly better theatrical) Just watch the extended, only 16 min longer but answers a lot of questions you might have had or just assumed answers to. Definitly Buy
