I love this movie! It has been years since I watched the movie when it first came out and bought the extended edition to watch again before going to see the next one in December. Well worth it!

Avatar is one of my all time favorite movies . I purchased it in regular 2D and enjoyed having it in my collection. When I saw it at Best Buy in 3D format I knew I had to have it for my 3D collection of movies. I am glad I purchased it because it has added a great further dimension to an already fantastic movie. I highly recommend it for 3D fans.

The reason I purchased this movie was specifically for the 3D. Everyone said this is THE movie to own if you have a 3D set and I think they are correct. It shines in 3D. Yes, the movie is still the same simply plotted story it's always been with some amazing CG, but it is a fun movie to watch. And if you like this, the Pacific Rim 3D is just as good (maybe better).

I had already seen this movie twice, once at the theater and once on DVD at home. But when purchasing a new 3D Panasonic Plasma, I asked the salesman to recommend me the best 3D movie out there and he said Avatar. Really enjoyed watching it yet a third time in 3D. Made the experience even more enjoyable than the first two times, even if I already knew how it ended.

We heard all the hype,,,and could not believe an animated movie could be so graphic with such colorful effects....well believe it!! One of the best we ever saw!!! Hoping for a part two!!! Did not believe it until we saw it for ourselves! The 3D version makes it 10 times better, honestly, fantastic story, most colorful and graphics that will blow your mind!

OM-DE10 Mk IV is Excellent. Great photos and videos as good as any full frame camera. Saved myself thousands and it goes with all my other micro 4/3rds lenses. Great for astrophotography and photos of moon and planets.

This movie has everything, story, good acting, action and a credible plot line. It is perhaps one of the greatest movies ever made. The visual effects are the best of any movie ever. It is also the highest grossing movie of all time which alone should show how good it is. Even people that don't like science fiction like this movie. It is a must see.

I took a chance on this set because frankly I enjoy new scenes and story plot line. This package is great. I had not seen the movie in many years and it is still as fresh and exciting as it was when it first appeared on screen. For the real fans, this an excellent package to add to your collection.

Takes history of conquering territory or countries into SCIFI theme and other alternate worlds. Integration of these themes is seamless. It has visual sensory impact upon your brain while maintaining a plausible reality, if you believe SCIFI can turn into reality. Even in alternate worlds there is a strong sense religiosity. Overall, well thought out and portrayed.

Years ago I bought this blu ray in 3d and it was amazing experience unfortunately was damaged then it took a while to find it again as regular blu ray. Now i have a lg 4k nanocell 65” tv and looks extremely well.

We went to Disney World this summer and experienced Avatar there for the first time without seeing the movie. When we got back we desired to purchase it. I must say great movie and it is even better when watching it in 3D. They did this once right, and i highly recommend those that haven't seen it to watch it.

I hate it when movies are produced in ultra wide screen, your gigantic television become a lot smaller with the letter-boxing that occurs. Happy to report that this movie was filmed with the exact dimensions of current lcd TVs! Fill the screen! And in 3d, that's great. As far as the movie goes, who hasn't seen it?

Great extended edition three disk Blu-ray movie For anyone who enjoyed watching avatar in the movie theaters I highly recommend this extended version with all of the extras and behind the scenes that are included in the three disk set

The film overall is not original, but it’s entertaining nonetheless. This particular product has a beautiful slipcover and holds a ton of bonus features. Looking forward to the sequels if they live up to the first installment or surpassing it.

I have watched avatar before, this is even better!!! Was going to buy the movie and then saw this 3 disk set, Cool!! Even has a family audio track( that removes questionable language) on disk 1 is part 1. Disk 2 is part 2. Disk 3 is deleted scenes. Acces to new additional scenes. And of course documentary. A must have for any Avatar Movie Buff!!

Bought this bc I recently bought a sony 4k tv. This is an amazing movie! I watched it in the theater when it first came out, but I liked it so much that I watched it twice when i bought this disc! the 3D effects definitely make a difference. The story is great, and i look forward to the sequels of this movie, which i think is coming out 2016.

This movie in 3D is fantastic. It still sets the standard for 3D movie viewing although I'm hoping that new content will be available soon as more directors embrace shooting their films in 3D format. Visually though, this continues to be a stunning film. My girlfriend, who is not a fan of 3D, actually said, "Wow, I enjoyed watching that."

The kids really enjoyed the story line while the adults were impressed with the gorgeous quality of the cinematography as well as the story. I have been skeptical aBout 3-D and found it gimmicky in other films but it really added to the beauty and depth of the scenes? Had the whole family actually sit through an entire movie together.

Such a great movie! THe quality and such is great! sound is great! HDR is really good, even those its not formated for it. The aspect ratio is great!

Got this on sale just to catch the directors cut version before the sequel returns to cinemas.. loved it.. the effects have certainly held up with time
