The movie exceeds the hype... didn't see in the theaters, so when I bought a new 3D TV it seemed a natural fit to buy this movie... wasn't disappointed... movie is one to be seen, complex philisophical thoughts combined with innovative colorful visual graphics make it a must see... glad I got the DVD...

I've seen this in theaters but i didn't see it in 3D in theaters. O.M.G. is all anyone that watches this on our TV can say. The detail and quality of the film are an adventure in itself. You actually feel like you are there and can touch everything! You have to experience it to believe it!

I have seen this movie in 3D when it first came out and since then I rented it twice and have enjoyed it every time. The color and the special effects are amazing. The additional features on this disc are also worthwhile watching. To see how this movie was made is beyond imagination.

This is the kind of movie you can watch over and over again. My sons also love this movie. We bought the 3D version in blu ray and it looks amazing on our new 3D TV. The acting is very good except fot the main military guy. I feel he over plays the "jarhead" too much. Everything else is terrific.

Phenomenal film. The behind-the-scenes are great in this collection. The process of making this film was so ahead of its time, really makes me interested to see what Cameron can pull off in Avatar 2!

I bought this movie for my children to watch before we go to Disney and see the avatar theme park. One of these options on the disc is to not have the profanity in the movie which was appreciated. Even though there was not much swearing I did like the option

Exceptional Movie. I saw it when it originally came out and wanted to refresh my memory before I went to see the next episode.

The extended edition has scenes that actually improve the movie. Glad I bought this one. If you love Avatar, get it. My only gripe is they haven't put it out in 4K yet.

This movie was a breakthrough on the big screen. It's even better on BluRay 3D. The depth of field is the best of all 3D movies available at the present time. I thought that Alice in Wonderland was the best before I bought this one. Here's hoping that Spielberg keeps up the great work on the sequel.

After my husband and I purchased our brand new home, we thought a brand new 3D/4K TV was necessary for our living room. Choosing Avatar in 3D was the best decision for our first film. It really felt like we were at a theatre, but in the comfort of our new home!

This is a great movie. One of the best I have ever seen. I can’t wait for the second one to come out in DVD. I love it!!

I always loved this movie, but never bought it. I decided I wanted to buy it because I could never find it on Netflix or premium movie channels. I bought a 3 disc DVD. It has special features and scenes that weren't on the original movie. I am so glad I bought it!

the story line was very moving especially the behavior by the aggressor man against these tribal fairly primitive technology wise but had emotions similar to ours without the violant streak that mankind have one of the greats of all time certainly in my top 10 of all time

Great movie for any sci-fi fan. The collector's edition adds some really great scenes that add depth to the story. The picture quality is amazing and the audio quality was also very good. Haven't watched any of the bonus material yet, but I'm sure it is all well done as well.

Just watched Avatar, what a beautifully filmed movie. It was even more enjoyable with it's vibrant colors while watching it on a 55" 4k tv.

I don't care if critics say that this is like dances with wolves or is anti-military. It speaks to a larger truth...the truth that only redemption can bring. Absolute triumphant achievements in music, CGI graphics and the next wave of real acting.

I could literally watch this movie over and over just because of the effects ! Beautiful animation , takes your mind somewhere magical ! The gorgeous colors ! Next level ... bring on the next one please !

I purchased this movie in the 3D format even though I already had a Blue-ray format version. The difference between the two formats is amazing. Watching the 3D format version is like watching the movie for the 1st time due to the difference in the viewing experience.

I saw this movie in 3D when it came out in the theater 7 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I watched the 3D Blu-ray yesterday and it was incredible. A lot of the scenes were eye-popping and with deep depth. Very much worth the $10 I paid for it.

Incredibly well done movie was really nice special-effects beautiful colors it’s almost like these people are real enjoyed it very much so I’ve seen it three times and I’ll be watching it again
