Never seen this one extended before!... gotta love that movie! so, can't wait to see part 2. that will be going to take so long forever!

The packaging is incredible. The extended content help shows more of the world James Cameron created. I'm eagerly awaiting the prequel and many sequels to continue this epic vision.

How can you not love it. Saw it twice in theaters and have it on 3D as well. Can’t wait for the second one to come out

This is by far the best 3D movie to watch at home. Great effects and colors really make this film worth purchasing. As far as the content I am not a big sci-fi kind of guy, but in 3D it's totally worth it.

This 3D theatrical version should have been included in the Extended Collector's Edition released in 2010. It's still a worthy release however. The 3D is rendered with consistently tremendous depth, both into and out of the screen, making it a distinct improvement from the 2D version. It's state of the art eye candy. Unfortunately there are no extras. It would've been nice to have the extended version in 3D too.

This is a very entertaining film. The environment created in the computer for the distance foreign planet is spectacular. The depths of the 3D effects are some of the best I have seen. I recommend the movie

This movie has loads of great 3D effects built into the scenes. We thought the ashes and "spirits" in the movie were landing on us as we watched. If you have a good 3D projector, this is a movie you must own.

The Limited Edition Blu-ray package gives you a 3D, 2D blu-ray and a DVD copy of the movie. A digital copy would've been nice, but it's the 3D blu-ray you really want. I'm not a huge fan of watching everything in 3D, but this movie is great way to test out your TV's capabilities. The picture has amazing detail, vibrant colors and most of the scenes offer a fantastic 3D experience at home.

Story line and excellent CGI, combined with 3D, and in particular, viewed on a 4K TV, using a 4K DVD player, results in a movie experience that put you IN the movie, not just in a chair viewing it.

Loved this movie when it first came out on the big screen and love it just as much now on blue ray , its action adventure and a love story all in one, Scenery is awesome throughout this movie especially in 3d

I bought the 3D version in anticipation of having a 3D capable TV some day. So I have just played the Blu Ray disc. The picture quality is beautiful! Can't wait to get a 4K 3D Oled TV and try it out on that!

One of the best demo 3d discs out there. This really wows on any 3d display. The graphics are very lush and colorful. The story is very simple but still entertains. Very worthy of a purchase.

Avatar is an awesome movie. And if you ever want to see a movie that can show the full potential of 3D, this is it. It was actually the movies that inspired me to get a 3D tv in the first place.

I like the look and sound of the movie. I watch it on my Toshiba 42 inch TV and it look amazing something you would love it seen. I'm glad I got this movie cause I can watch it at home has many times as I want.

This movie is all about the visuals. Can't say I'm crazy about the Mother Earth theme, but the acting is good and the action is thrilling. Of course, 3D can be subjective, but this movie does look great!

This was the extend version, I also played it thru my Oppo Blue ray player, this made the colors more intense, also very happy with Oppo shame they are not making them any more

3D is on life support but if you want a 3D movie that will really impress your friends and family you can't do much better than Avatar. Great sense of depth and amazing color.

I watched it in the theater and thought this could never be good on 3D TV screen. Well, I was wrong. Excellent 3D graphics, I ended up watching it over and over for 3 days straight!

Recently bought a Blu Ray player and this is the first movie I purchased...WOW. I could not believe the clarity quality. I have seen Avatar prior, and always loved it, but this time around I was speechless.
