This is a great movie. I can't get enough of it. The characters and their personalities make me want to watch the movie over and over again. This film showcases the human weaknesses present in the Avengers. HD audio track is immersive and picture is clear and detailed. I don't have a 3D player so I can't comment on that. Get this movie to watch with your son. What kid doesn't love Marvel at this point? Emotions, special effects, and diverse actors, great movie.

I like that they did a vision and ultron steelbook. I feel the front of the steelbook could have been much better... The big "A" on the front is ok but steelbooks are meant to display vibrant art work.. The front should have an iconic scene from the movie. Thors lightning in battle, flying sparks from ultron, etc. would all look good on a metalic case versus a huge "A" ... They need better marketers with some creativity to make these steelbooks.. I feel no thought goes into these steelbooks. If you cant think of good ideas, have the fans on the Marvel website vote on it, but can we have more creativity go into a Marvel steelbook. Please, with more vibrant art that pops to a fans eyes.

First off let me say that I'm not a professional critic. that being said I loved the movie .I thought it was very punny (i did not mis-spell that) and that the action was superb.as well as the sound. i simply loved the idea of Jarvis finally having a actual body, with super(b) powers at that! and the 3D, as was intended, just jumps out at you. Once again Marvel, in my humble opinion, you made a memorable masterpiece that's worthy of a place in my library.

Black Friday began early for me this year (Nov. 2) with the purchase of this Blu-Ray copy of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” for a good sale price. It is the second of the four Avengers movies. It has the usual fine cast and sparkling special effects of the Marvel movies. I purchased it in the first wave of Black Friday offerings and was a very welcome one.

Commits to trying to be funny, like the original, rather than acknowledging the stakes. It's flippant and absurd but has it's exciting moments and great shots. Suffers from a lack of cohesion in it's ideas.

Marvel has done another outstanding job brining these exciting characters to the big screen. Joss Whedon was the right man to direct this movie including the first Avengers movie from 2012. It's cool seeing new characters and how the Avengers are faced with greater challenges in this action-packed adventure. These characters have been around for several decades but it's really been worth the wait to see the right actors portray these Marvel superheroes.

This movie was a really good one. I enjoyed watching every bit of the movie. The movie had a shallow introduction to Vision. The movie was really cool. I really liked the introduction of Ultron. I liked how they did not mess up the storyline from the first Avengers movie. The action scenes were well done. This is a movie that you need to see!

Just when the Marvel-ous world-protecting team of the Avengers thinks they can take a bit of a vacation, along comes Ultron. An experiment in artificial intelligence of Tony Stark's gone horribly wrong, Ultron turns on his creators and wreaks havoc on mankind. In continuous action-packed, special-effects sequences, the Avengers battle Ultron to the death. Oh, and The Hulk and Black Widow fall in love. Gotta throw a bone to the ladies, I guess.

The first Avengers movie was a fantastic film with great characters and great action, but was a bit of a slow starter before it reached its sensational climax. This film starts at 11, but also manages to make time for its characters. Age of Ultron is a wonderful movie that packed with well-choreographed fights, compelling characters with fully realized character arcs, and even speaks to the human condition. It's truly a film that has it all.

This Avengers : Age of Ultron 4K BLU-RAY STEELBOOK completes the collection and doesn't disappoint. This new 4K master gives the film a much need boost in its originally flat visual design. There is far more depth and detail and the machines/armors look a tad more realistic here. A definite upgrade over the original release is also the soundtrack. Far more punch, but still not reference quality.

I didn't watch this in the theaters, so I decided to purchase this on Blu-ray rather than renting. Being a Marvel and an Avengers fan, I knew that at one point, I would need to watch this follow up movie. I was thoroughly impressed by not only the graphics and explosions of the movie, but I felt the story line and the story telling was on mark as well. I would recommend this to any Marvel fan and to add this movie to their MCU collection.

Anyone who has been on board since the beginning of the MCU already knows this movie is a must see, the story-line both adds to the overall MCU but is also a great as a stand-alone movie. This purchase offers the versatility of multiple playback platforms which is good for almost every situation (unless you are like me and prefer to have the dvd instead of the Digital) making this an optimal purchase for home entertainment or on the go.

I doubt that people want to read a movie review here, if you weren't interested in this movie then you wouldn't be reading this already. I think this buy is worth it for the special features and the digital copy. If you sign up for the new Disney movies app on your device the digital copy transfers from iTunes to Microsoft to google play so you don't have to decide what device to play it on. It's a great feature for all Disney movies!

My 5 year old daughter has been obsessed with Captain America since she was 3. The only disappointment I think is that this movie doesn't have more Captain America (at least, in her opinion)! Great movie for basic superhero fun. But also to think about best intentions that are implemented in the wrong way can lead to bad consequences - what I talked to my kids about. And Paul Bettany finally getting on screen as The Vision....awesome!

In theaters I found this film pretty dull and basic. Wasn't particularly enthralled or excited. Even In 3D, which was unfortunately more restrained than the first. To say the least, I was let down. That said, I struggled with liking the first as well...however have always enjoyed the single films leading up to the Avengers, for the most part. But both this film and the first deserved a second viewing...and for whatever reason found much more to enjoy the second time around. Even the 3D. Personally I thank Civil War as it kind of reinvigorated my interest in this world and characters, which frankly I had grown sort of tired of.

This is a must have steelbook for the collectors. The embossed and debossed are very well done and the steelbook is glossy. The only downside with this release is the poor quality control at manufacturing or packaging. About half of the items that I see on the store shelves have spine slash in the middle of the spine. I have yet to thoroughly checked the 4K picture quality though.

A win for Marvel, but a lose for keeping to the story line. Trying to have the Hulk fall in love with someone other than Betty just won't do. Great animation in this movie, but I did love the original alien invasion from the first movie more. The producers just don't know what a great story the original was and have to add the multi cultural junk they get from the PC crowd they hang with. Save the multi cultural for the X-Men.

Avengers: AoU is certainly an entertaining viewing experience, but it is ultimately unable to recapture the magic of the first Avengers film. There is little in this movie that seems as memorable or iconic as many of the scenes from the first film. That said, this is still a solid entry into Marvels catalog. The special features are somewhat lackluster unfortunately, which seems to be par for the course with Marvel. The director's commentary with Joss Whedon is interesting and insightful, but beyond that the behind the scenes features leave a lot to be desired. Those flaws aside, I'm definitely glad to have this film in my collection.

Though not as fresh and clean as the first, the sequel to Avengers has good points and some reasonable efforts toward character development. It feels a bit like an in-between movie, which we won't know until the next one comes out, and isn't as tight as say Winter Soldier, but there are good points and good special features to add to your collection. Some subplots are lost or not clear enough to make their inclusion satisfying. The increasing reliance upon tech-characters is a bit of a weak point that makes Ultron not nearly as compelling or interesting as Loki was and the action is almost frenetic at times, quashing story-points.

If you are a fan of any of the Avengers or the Avengers as a whole, I would recommend this movie. After Tony Stark feels the world (and the Avengers) isn't ready for another alien attack, he creates the Ultron program to protect the world. Unfortunately, Ultron believes that the only way to protect the world is to exterminate the human race. So, it's up to the Avengers to stop Ultron from destroying the world they protect.
