I must say that I am a big fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and my son joins in with me on viewings of most (though not all) of the movies (and Netflix). So, when no one else in the household wanted to go see it, the two of us saw this in theaters, and we enjoyed it. However, as we were driving home, we started talking and noticed a few things that just weren't that great. Not bad, just... mediocre. So, the BluRay came out. We watched it. As for the movie: Upon rewatching, honestly, it just isn't as good. Some of the wonder kind of wears off, and it just isn't as much fun (except for the Hulkbuster). It also isn't as funny, and the fights just aren't as interesting. It's not bad. Not by any means. It just doesn't stand up as well as the first movie, or most of the Marvel movies. That said... The product: Nice set, with a decent amount of extras and decent packaging. No complaints there. So, basically, go see it, enjoy it, but temper your expectations.

I bought this at a great price. Now I can catch up on my Marvel films.

The weakest of the four Avengers movies, but still worth a watch.

A bit clunky in the beginning but a Good start for Thor in the MCU.

I bought this specifically for use with my Benq w1070 projector and 120 inch screen. We had a family movie night and the blu-ray was great - picture and sound were what you would expect. The movie itself is pure pop corn eye candy action. Later I tried the 3D blu-ray and it was OK but in general 3D doesn't do much for me. The steel book is a nice add in and there is also a code for a digital download of the movie. I bought this for $20, the regular retail price of $30 would be too much in my opinion.

Although AoU has a lot of stiff competition from other MCU films such as Ant Man, Iron Man and The Winter Soldier, AoU is a great film. It was a huge step toward Infinity Wars and expanding the universe and brought the elements of an engaging film using emotion, comedy, and intense action. The film also employed a few philosophical concepts for the audience to stew over. All in all, the film was great and a lot of fun.

Good movie and more or less continues where the first Avengers movie left off. There may be some required viewing before watching this movie, such as Agents of SHIELD and/or Captain America: Winter Soldier. But neither is necessary to enjoy the movie. The visuals is great and the audio is good. I have yet to check on the surround mix. But for simple viewing, the audio is good enough. The casting is also great, as it brings in characters seen in previous related movies. The only downside is that the writing is done so well that it only leaves you wanting more. I'm anxious to see how the next Avengers movie play out.

I loved the movie and enjoy the Marvel universe that keeps me entertained. This was a good movie, but not as good as the first Avengers. Spoiler alert: I hate the Hulk/Black Widow bit they have started. Bruce Banner has always been head over heals for Betty Ross. She was the only one that could tame the beast in Banner, and now Black Widow can? They lost me on that one. Also, why did Quicksilver die like that, it wasn't believable at all. He could have moved the bullets or something else. Enjoyable, but not living up to the standards of fandom. Also enjoyed the packaging, nice optional character tins.

Still a good movie just wasn't feeling the way they made ultron

I totally enjoyed this movie in the Theater. And I was eager to own this on Blu-Ray. Thankfully BB had an exclusive steelbook edition, two different versions to be exact. There was an Ultron version or The Vision version available. I went with the Ultron version steelbook. It came with the 3D & regular Blu ray discs as well as the DVD and a Digital copy. The movie itself looks fantastic with vivid colors and plenty of action. Speaking of action the sound is awesome! The surround sound totally envelopes you, while the LFE channel provides some rumble. Overall a great deal at a great price from BB!
