I saw the film in the theater, but couldn’t wait to see it again. The action is great and keeps the momentum going, but I really like the characters. With a number of films under their belt, it’s great to watch them develop and I enjoy getting to know them. Even the new ones; I think Marvel does a great job in this area. I’ve been a fan of James Spader for some time now, but I really enjoyed the way he brought Ultron’s personality to the film. I could easily watch it again just for that.

Another great entry from Marvel. The action rarely let's up. This can be good and bad since there isn't a lot of time to balance the exposition of the film. It's actually slowed way down in the middle of the movie to explore and explain the actual plot of the film and build out the tension both within the team and against their foe. The true highlights of the film, in my opinion, were the performances from Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Vision (Paul Bettany). They really steal the scenes they are a part of. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a fun, action-packed, blockbuster ride that doesn't skimp on the visuals but still manages to provide a compelling story thanks to the grade-A performances from the entire cast.

Was super excited about this movie because I liked the first one so much. On the one hand you get to see all the Avengers back together, you get the Hulkbuster armor, you get crazy upgrades for each of the main cast as far as gadgets and uniforms. But the there's the way too much time shoving Hawkeye's family down your throat and Ultron wanting to exterminate the Avengers because... "reasons?" He is awakened and then decides that they need to be killed, doesn't make a lot of sense. But whatever, I got to see the team back together and Scarlett Johansson is eye candy of the highest caliber. But if I had to watch an Avengers movie it would be the original. This one is good to have as well. Check me out at www.blackliontravel.com

I went to the theater to see this movie in IMAX 3D and I must say, I wasn't disappointed. I've been a Marvel fan since I was a little boy and I started collecting all the modern day movies since they came out with the Blu-Ray format (including 3Dmovies). When Best Buy started carrying the Steelbook versions of the 3D movies, I jumped onboard immediately. As a matter of fact, I purchased both the "Ultron" and the "Vision" version of this movie just so I would have a complete collection.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is better than its the original in many ways. The spotlight is spread amongst the six key members of the team much more efficiently than in the first film and the villain is a homegrown threat that is even bigger and deadlier than Loki was. The visuals and action sequences are considerably larger, as well. Even with regards to its few flaws, "Age of Ultron" is the most substantial and significant Marvel film to date that is equally entertaining and electrifying.

Avengers Age of Ultron 4K bluray is worth every penny. The movie is action packed from start to finish, the story works well and it leaves you wanting more of the avengers. Visuals in 4k bluray are spectacular, every detail crisp, colors pop, easily surpassing dvd and bluray in every way. Audio is perfect, with a more cinematic feel and larger presence. A must have if you are an action movie fan or follow the comic book series.

I'm a big fan of Marvel movies and Age of Ultron did nothing to change that! The transfer on this disc is outstanding. The 3d version is one of Marvels better efforts; the 3d picture offers superb depth throughout but does not offer alot in the way of "pop out" moments. The sound is mastered a little lower than other Blu BUT nothing that a little turn off the volume can't fix. The extras are a little sparse but not unacceptable. I would consider this a near demo disc. I recommend.

This movie is very similar to the first Avengers. Worldwide threat, heroes banding together and then not getting along, coming together at the end in a massive battle scene...etc. However, that is not to say that this movie is not awesome. It brings in some great new characters and really just scratches the surface of what the future of Marvel Universe could be. If you were a fan of the first Avengers you will love this one, if you were not...then this probably won't be for you.

Avengers Age of Ultron was a really fun movie that built upon the foundations of the first Avengers and gave a lot of hints about the future of Marvel's Cinematic Universe in Phase 3! New characters with the twins, Vision, and of course Ultron make this 2nd outing extremely packed from end to end with barely any pause to breathe except at the visit to Barton's farm in the middle. Still, the action scenes were great and the movie has Marvel's trademark humor and drama. Enjoy!

Black Friday began early for me this year (Nov. 2) with the purchase of this Blu-Ray copy of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” for a good sale price. It is the second of the four Avengers movies. It has the usual fine cast and sparkling special effects of the Marvel movies. I purchased it in the first wave of Black Friday offerings and was a very welcome one.

Age of Ultron is a very good sequel but not quite as entertaining as the first Avengers. Some characters are better fleshed out this time such as Bruce Banner/Hulk. James Spader as Ultron is great and the CGI captured Spader's mannerisms perfectly. Introduction of Vision is great. Story's final battle feels a bit like been there done that. The large numbers of androids is very similar to the alien horde from the first Avengers. I still loved the movie though. 8 out of 10.

A bit overlong and some of the CGI during the opening battle set piece shows its cracks, so to speak, but a solid outing overall. The performances elevate this above most action films. On that note, special recognition to Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner for giving an extra layer of humanity to their respective characters, in contrast to the first film. In that outing, Ruffalo was just "awkward guy" until it was time for the special effects crew to take over and Renner's Hawkeye was delegated to being under mind-control and the antagonist's henchman for much of his screen-time. This time, both have an extra dimension of depth that serves them and the film well. Spader's Ultron is a definite treat as well.

I wasn't a comic book fan as a kid so never watched the Marvel movies much, but this and Guardians of the Galaxy have made me a big Marvel fan and going back to checking out the ones from the previous years. Age of Ultron has a first class cast and great story and special effects. I saw it twice in the theaters and that was only disappointment is on a small TV screen it didn't hold up as well, but still good. Guess I'll have to go back to Best Buy and get a bigger TV.

Marvel continues its spate of excellent action movies with Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. Special effects are great, but the story itself does leave a little to be desired. There's nothing new here regarding the interaction with the Avengers, and not enough of the Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver, waaaay too much RDJ, and the side bar on the farm with Hawkeye could've stayed on the cutting room floor. Other than these criticisms, its a great movie; definitely worth collecting.

Every element of movie is superb- the cast, particularly the addition of James Spader as Ultron. The action is non stop from beginning to end. The visual effects are second to none. Even the farm scenes which could have pulled the movie down are instead invaluable for providing back story. As an avid Avengers comic fan I was fully satisfied with movie deviations of plot- Jarvis as Vision great adaptation. 5 plus stars on scale of 1 to 5. Can't wait for next chapter!

This movie was a really good one. I enjoyed watching every bit of the movie. The movie had a shallow introduction to Vision. The movie was really cool. I really liked the introduction of Ultron. I liked how they did not mess up the storyline from the first Avengers movie. The action scenes were well done. This is a movie that you need to see!

Commits to trying to be funny, like the original, rather than acknowledging the stakes. It's flippant and absurd but has it's exciting moments and great shots. Suffers from a lack of cohesion in it's ideas.

This is a great movie. I can't get enough of it. The characters and their personalities make me want to watch the movie over and over again. This film showcases the human weaknesses present in the Avengers. HD audio track is immersive and picture is clear and detailed. I don't have a 3D player so I can't comment on that. Get this movie to watch with your son. What kid doesn't love Marvel at this point? Emotions, special effects, and diverse actors, great movie.

I like that they did a vision and ultron steelbook. I feel the front of the steelbook could have been much better... The big "A" on the front is ok but steelbooks are meant to display vibrant art work.. The front should have an iconic scene from the movie. Thors lightning in battle, flying sparks from ultron, etc. would all look good on a metalic case versus a huge "A" ... They need better marketers with some creativity to make these steelbooks.. I feel no thought goes into these steelbooks. If you cant think of good ideas, have the fans on the Marvel website vote on it, but can we have more creativity go into a Marvel steelbook. Please, with more vibrant art that pops to a fans eyes.
