If Marvel keeps doing what they're doing, they will always get a good review from me. I've liked all the movies.

It looks so clear and clean. The picture is so crispy, I can’t draw away from it. “Age of Ultron” looks great in 4K.

Really need 1/2 star options in here, Best Buy! Rounding up on this, only because a 3 star review seems to be a disservice, but a four star review is a touch high. After the original Avengers, the bar was set pretty high for the follow-up, and unfortunately, Ultron doesn't really come close to its own lofty ambitions. Don't get me wrong, there's lots to love in this movie. Ultron is cool, but I'm not certain I felt as "threatened" by him as the movie would have liked him to be. The twins are fun throughout, and a lot of the funny banter back and forth is still prevalent throughout the movie. The Hulkbuster vs Hulk fight was, without a doubt, pretty epic... And in a semi-unfortunate way, it might have been the best fight in the movie. Ultron's minions attack in swarms, which seems to be the only way the Avengers can be threatened (so far) in their movies, but they come across rather generically. Whereas the invaders from the first film had some measure of "differences" in the way they attacked, the Ultron copies just seem to come non-stop like an army of ants. But, perhaps my two biggest disappointments were in never hearing Hulk utter a word, or if he did, it was so unmemorable that I'm not recalling it. Whereas he almost stole the show with some of his limited vocabulary in the original, here he's just a rampaging creature that can only be calmed by Black Widow. And even that would be fine, if they were showing a regression of sorts in him with some measure of backstory to show it taking place. As he doesn't have his own films, seeing him becoming more brutish and forming the bond with Natasha would have been preferable to some of the other time spent in Age of Ultron... Where the first movie's runtime was hidden behind some really great stuff, AoU does have the occasional drag to it. The original Avengers felt epic, felt special... Ultron feels like... well, a sequel. It never recaptures the magic of seeing these heroes together or shows us much in new teamwork that adds a new taste of uniqueness to the series. With Whedon bowing out of the next (2 part) Avengers movie, and being replaced by the directors of Winter Soldier, I'm kind of glad to see it happen. Whedon is spectacular, particular with his humor, but perhaps fresh blood will return them to "Earth's Mightiest".
