    I have mixed feelings

I know most people absolutely love this movie and I can see why but for me I feel like they could have done so much more but instead cared more about setting up their Disney+ shows rather than telling an epic story. But while I don't particularly like this movie it is by far the best out of all the movies that I hate (if that makes sense) It has some really great moments and the final battle is one of the greatest things I have ever seen but there are far too many plot holes and conveniences to make this even in my top 5 MCU movies, its like the Russo's didn't even watch Infinity War because they contradict so many of the plot elements they themselves created in their own movies its really hard to believe actually. But with all that its definitely not a bad movie.

It's the endgame, nothing more, nothing less

I enjoyed this movie, probably not as good as Infinity War, or Civil War, but top five MCU. The action was great and spread apart, the acting was solid except for the emotionless B. Larson performance with Robert and Scarlet being the standouts. What I didn't like about the movie was continued character development during the final movie of this phase. We had additional character development in Nebula, Iron Man, and Captain America in flash backs. Some characters were injured and or underutilized such as the Hulk, Winter Solider, and even Thor to let characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Thanos flourish. Hulk with 1 damaged arm should have been a wrecking machine. I would have loved to see his back story on how he became the Banner Hulk hybrid.

Incredible Film Ending Phase 3 in the MCU

(Spoilers) Avengers Endgame is one of the best of the 22 films that concludes the series of Phase 3 in the Marvel Comic Universe. In fact it is the highest grossing movie of all time! It leaves off where Avengers Infinity War ended. All seemed lost in Endgame, with half of the universes population gone. Thanos used the Infinity Stone gauntlet to create what he thought was best. The Avengers Antman comes up a great plan using time travel to get the infinity stones before Thanos. The Avengers last stand takes place in this movie. A lot of questions are answered and some still need answering but that is for Phase 4 in the MCU. Endgame lived up to its lofty goals. If you are a Marvel comic book follower or just a fan this last film does not disappoint.

    A Stunning Culmination

This movie is the perfect end to the first leg of the MCU's plan; it ties in the prior movies and closes the Infinity Saga in a way that may have been expected but was still unbelievably satisfying. The cast is great, the pacing fantastic, the visuals stunning as always. But on top of all of that, the performance of Robert Downey Jr. is deserving of an Oscar. I'm not a huge fan of his or Iron Man (not to say I dislike either, because he's done a good job playing Tony Stark). His performance here really cemented the movie. While I would have liked to see more screen time for some of the other characters - Tom Holland and the Guardians cast in particular - this movie is a great sendoff and perfect way to end the Infinity Saga. Nothing beats Fat Thor.

There's just something about this movie...

After doing 22 movies it ended with a simple moment. I guess I'm just glad for a sappy scene in the end. Years ago when watching Captain America the First Avenger I really wanted that moment in the comics where Rogers dances with Peggy at the end. It was my first major gripe about the Movie. Then finally Endgame gave me that ending, and you would think that after the Stark Funeral I was all cried out that one scene made me cry out of happiness. I know that people have a lot of issues with this movie for some dumb reason or another but to me, it's these little moments of joy and scene captures that made with 23 Marvel Universe worth it. With all these extra thoughts and behind the scenes this was a great purchase. I look forward to all my rewatches.

    Outstanding Film, Average Steelbook

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? This film is outstanding. The 4K transfer is superior over the Blu Ray transfer, though both are great! Marvel has created a monster of emotion, visual splendor, and action that will have you feeling exhausted by the end of it. This was my favorite film of 2019. The steelbook leaves a little to be desired; the characters are practically miniatures on the front and back covers to make sure they all fit. These are our favorite Marvel heroes, and we can hardly see them! Just, why? Also, similar to the Dark Phoenix steelbook, the inside covers are beautiful and should have been switched with the outside covers. Still worthy of your steelbook collection, but only out of necessity and not creativity.

This movie is hard to summarize without using some over the top words like : fantastic, awesome, and others that come to mind. This film is the final act in what has to be the largest set of movies that are all based in the same universe and follow the same story line. Other film franchises with the word 'Star' in them have come close to this but those films are snapshots in time where this film brings together decades of 'film' time together and almost a decade of real time taken to film/release all of the previous movies that lead up to this one. It should be noted that it is a little slow in the beginning but hang on because it builds up speed as it continues on. Clear your night, grab the popcorn, and sit back and enjoy!!!

Since it’s a movie, ratings are majorly up to personal preferences. The physical item itself is the same as any other steel book one might buy, and the D-Copy code worked(that’s the end of the physical rating). Now as for the film, I love it! For an avid Marvel fan(like me), this movie is chock-a-block full of references/throwbacks/easter-eggs to the previous films. I would assume that someone buying this has already see it, but on the off chance you haven’t and/or if you haven’t see many of the other films, this movie can feel really slow in the first 2/3 of runtime. But even still, the last 1/3 makes up for it in a big way! Once again though, being a film it’s all personal preference. I’d heartily recommend the film to anyone!

Triumph of a film, in a beautiful package

There's not much I can say about Avengers: Endgame that hasn't already been said: it is an absolute triumph of a film that successfully brings together 22 films of storytelling and manages to find a satisfying and emotional conclusion to a story we've been following for 11 years now. As far as this special edition: its a beautiful steelbook with the surviving members of the Avengers on the front, and the Snapped heroes on the back. The interior case includes images of the two fallen heroes by the conclusion of the film: Iron Man and Black Widow. The steelbook feels high quality, and looks gorgeous on your shelf. Overall, its only $5 more than any other comparable edition, and if you're a collector, this is a must have.

Well, I’m not sure if this is a review for them or for the packaging that comes in this exclusive Steelbook. OK here’s a quick review for both. Endgame is 10 year journey that comes to an end that started with Iron Man. It’s a great film, full of ups and downs and for myself, contains one of the greatest showdowns and finales of Marvel history. The movie is worth watching at least once. Now the Steelbook is great! It looks cool and holds your movies well. Now is it worth the extra 5 bucks. I’d say possibly. In the end, it is what it is, a collectible. So of course you will pay more for it. It is numbered so that makes it authentic. So go for it. If some are still available, get a Steelbook version of Avengers Endgame.

The movie is awesome. Great conclusion to Infinity War. This movie in a sense is like “Ocean’s 11” meets “Back To The Future” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Lots of fun. The packaging for this version of the film is solid. I chose the steelbook for its durability and for the design. The casing has our favorite active heroes as well as those we lost during the “snap”. Also the picture quality from the 4K disc is beautiful. You can’t go wrong watching this at its highest resolution possible. If you’re a Marvel fan this is a definite own. I’m definitely buying the recent Spider-Man film “Far From Home” when it’s released because it’s the actual conclusion to this film and of this current phase of the MCU.

    Perfect ending to an era

Endgame wraps up most of the primary storylines carried through the first 11 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is the perfect closing chapter to an exciting era of superhero movies, but also sets the stage for the next era to begin. Avengers: Infinity War is required viewing before trying to watch Endgame. Think of Infinity War as part 1 and Endgame as part 2. While it isn't necessary to have seen every Marvel film since 2008's Iron Man, you will be rewarded for having seen them all. The included digital copy code expires after 8/20/2024. It is redeemable on Movies Anywhere, or several connected vendors. The packaging of this release is the standard black plastic with a cardboard slipcase.

After Thanos obtains all the Infinity Stones and wipes out half of all life in existence, the remaining Avengers band together with other survivors on a quest to undo the Snap. Many of the original Avengers cross paths with their past and come to terms with it, eventually building up to a massive battle with one of the most amazingly awesome moments in comic book movie history: Captain America wielding Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor. A outstanding culmination of all the Marvel movies that came before it with many moments that not only grip you but tug at your heartstrings as well, especially the battle climax and its aftermath. If you like Marvel movies, you definitely don't want to miss this.

Ok this movie is great. Yes it has its issues and I would have like to seen more of some while less of other scenes but as it is, its good. The steelbook is also cool with the solid A and dusted A but I still think that Best Buy needs to go back to a blu ray steelbook that's not 4k and $34. As a collector I spend $10 more for the case and a 4k disc I can't use. It also means that the $34 price tag now limits me to only a select few I will get and just waiting for the blu ray to go down in price. They also need to think about the Disney+ service. Since that will get the streaming movies is there a reason to spend $34 on something that all I would want is the case since I wouldn't need the movie?

The capstone to 10 years of MCU story telling

I did not watch this movie until after blu-ray release. I haven't watched the blu-ray edition only the 4k so I can't comment on the difference to say definitively that the upgrade is worth it but I was amazed at the quality of the 4k edition -- i only have a sound bar and I've heard that the Marvel encoding is not as nice as some of the Atmos ones. In the 6 mos since this was released I've been rewatching the rest of the movies in the series and I was grateful for how many plot threads and themes from movies before were picked back up. There were good call outs to many of the earlier movies in a way that made it feel like the completion of the ark for the 4 original avengers. *POSSIBLE SPOILERS* I was less impressed with the pacing of the movie overall and in particular the first hour felt awkward, much more so then Russos' previous MCU movies. There should've been a better way to get us to the Time Heist with the necessary setup -- probably making better use of Antman as the protagnoist until the gang gets Tony out of retirement. There is a HEAVY focus on the 6 original Avengers characters with pivotal roles for Rocket, Nebular and Antman but I feel that was done to the expense of "secondary" characters. Scarlet Witch has a pivotal conclusion to her character arc that was summed up with two lines of dialog. Quill's loss and feeling for Gamora are not truly addressed besides a cheap groin-shot. The balance of so many characters in an ensemble cast and still providing purpose and meaning for each on of them was managed WAY better in Infinity War. Overall its a great movie, one of the better ones in the MCU and a satisfying end to the original Avengers story ark.

It was 10 years in the making but finally we had a conclusion to one of the most ambitious series of films ever attempted. While obviously not every movie in the MCU was a sequel to the next, they were all connected in one way or another. There really is next to nothing I can say bad about the movie other then it was a bit too long.. of course to get everything into the movie that they wanted it was almost a necessity to have it as long as it was. The battle later in the movie was one of the most epic ones ever filmed. I also enjoyed the way they wrapped up some of the stories for a few of the characters. If you are into comic inspired movies, this movie is definitely worth a watch!

Bought this for my Grandson. He already had the precursor to this movie. He spent the night. We started with the first movie, then watched this one. Thank goodness, otherwise, I would have been lost. Sorry, I don't really know the name of the characters so you will have to be patient. Loved all the space scenes..different planets. The characters are what I would expect to see in outer space. Always a good plot line. Sad, but at the same time, ending was exactly like it should have ended. Graphics, or whatever it is called was amazing. Colors were brilliant yet ominous at the appropriate times. Would watch both again along with homemade popcorn. Thanks for a good movie.

If you're a Marvel fan, this movie is an absolute dream come true. The story keeps you guessing and wondering how and what is going to happen. Every shot, every scene matters (apart from some awkward, seemingly-forced humor). Endings of movies are what I love most and this movie has one of the best movie endings I've ever seen, and THE best super hero movie ending. One of the best parts about this movie is that even though it's the end of a 22 film saga, you don't have to have seen all 22 of them and I even knew people who had never seen a single one and still enjoyed it! I lovethis movie so much and would watch it every day if it wasn't long and emotionally taxing. :)

The Russo brothers have outdone themselves with this fast-paced and epic conclusion to Phase 3 of the Marvel Universe series. This movie ties up all the hanging strings of storyline and gives, in particular, each of the key members of the Avengers rousing and epic opportunities to showcase their talents, heroism and, in the case of the actors, acting chops. For anyone who has invested ten years, like I have, in dissecting these movies, this epic conclusion does not fail to satisfy and bring everything home, while resetting the next phase of movies, for which I can't wait to see. The three hours truly fly by as you enjoy this amazing ride. Did not disappoint at all!

My only complaint is I wish that it didn't have a 4K version. Its not something I need, so thats just personal. Otherwise the case has a cool cover with the survivors of the snap on the front, and those who were snapped on the back. Inside theres a nice little In Memoriam for the two heroes who were lost in the fight against Thanos. The price seems fair for three different copies of the movie, plus a bunch of fun extras. As for the movie, I enjoyed it. The end fight was worth the ten year build to. Such a blast, and plenty of moments for the fans. It drags a bit in the middle, but as a whole, it was worth it and made me want to get this Steelbook to watch it again.
