Avengers Infinity is a great movie - capping off 10 years of Marvel films - it is a great film. This film needs to be watched on Bluray/4k - as the special effects are excellent.

Since there are all kinds of reviews/analyses out there of Avengers: Infinity War as a movie, my brief review is about this home video release. The behind-the-scenes content on the Blu-ray amounts to about 32 minutes, split over four featurettes, all of which are fun and informative (but have nowhere near the depth of what Paramount gave us, way back with the Iron Man and Iron Man 2 Blu-rays). There's the standard gag reel, but it only clocks in at 2 minutes and change, which feels really slight, given the degree of hilarity that must have been near-constant on the set with all of these Type-A actors finally getting to play off of each other. You also get four deleted scenes (10 minutes in total), all of which seem like they easily could have been left in the movie, considering it's two-and-a-half hours long to begin with. The best of these, "A Father's Choice" adds even more layers to the Thanos/Gamora relationship, which is the heart of Thanos' relatability as a character. While these features are all interesting and appreciated, the best one "The Directors' Roundtable", is only available with the digital copy of the film. It's a half-hour discussion between Jon Favreau, Joss Whedon, the Russo Brothers, James Gunn, Peyton Reed, and Ryan Coogler (with a brief Skype appearance by Taika Waititi) about their experiences working in the MCU, and it is essential viewing for fans of this sprawling franchise. In fact, it's the whole reason I drove 30 miles to my nearest Best Buy to get it, rather than buying Wal-Mart's version, which only includes the Blu-ray and not a digital code. If you're an MCU fan, you owe it to yourself to pick up a version that includes digital.

This movie units the Marvel universe together. The action is non stop and the characters are in full form. The only disappointment is the ending which leads the viewer into a squeal

For as many ups and downs as the Marvel films have had, it’s impressive for everything to be tied up and made singular for Infinity War. Hope its sequel sticks the real landing!
