This is by far my favorite Avengers movie to date. It's been 10 years in the making but when you look at the story arc of all the MCU films this film does a great job of pulling the stories together to the the first part of a grande finale, The action is superb, the comic bits had me in stitches and the ending had me wanting more. You will want to catch up on all the MCU films if you haven't already to get all the minor clues, but even if you're a casual fan it's a great movie. I decided to purchase the 4K Blu-Ray because 4K isn't available on iTunes and the audio on physical media seems to be better even though I only have 5.1 Dolby setup. With a 5.1.2 or better setup this movie will be great in Dolby Atmos.

Infinity War as a movie is great. The steelbook is also great, although pricey. The 4K quality was decent, but not a very noticeable upgrade over the blu-ray in my opinion.

If you don't care about anything but CHI effects, you might enjoy this movie. The script makes not only makes no sense, it disagreed at most points with the base Marvel Universe. The acting descends to the level of embarrassing at times. The overall feeling, in my opinion, is that the producers just wanted to shut the Avengers series doen, didn't care a bit about how they did it, and had so little respect for their audience that they assumed they wouldn't care. The CHI was good, though...

I love this movie, there was never a dull moment, despite its length. Ever since the reboot of star-war, force aweaken, I kind of had lost my hope that there'll ever be something similar to the old school sci-fi super hero made; this movie changed my mind. The steelbook is nice but not great. It has beautiful colors, but lacking sophistication and epicness, as well some embossing/debossing, which is necessary to make it unique. Because this movie is not just about Thano and his gauntlet, it's also about the epic failures of how the avengers had lost their battle. Moreover, I notice these days steelbook of the newer movies don't offer embossing/debossing designs anymore, they are just plain printing.

***SPOILER ALERT***After watching the film only 7 times in the last 10 days, I can tell you there is a lot to rave about. From the shocking opening scene to the bold ..rarely seen... 'villain wins' ending, it's an unforgettable film. Each scene is better than last and it's a roller coaster all way. Lastly, there are a years worth of speculations, who is really who, and theories about who will make it through Avengers 4 and beyond. In order to savor every nuance it's probably a good idea to have seen the last 10 years of MCU films leading up to this great movie. If I could give it 10 stars I would..I anticipate watching this again at least 25 more times before Avengers 4 comes out. Hope this helps.

Marvel has hit it out of the park with Infinity War. Ten years of planning culminates in this epic film. Yes. It is long. Yes. This is only part one. But a story of this magnitude kind of deserves it. The film is well balanced between the characters with plenty of humor, action, and drama. The UHD Blu-ray is very good. It does lack Dolby Vision. If you have seen other Dolby Vision presentations, you can form your own opinion about whether this would make a difference in picture quality or not. In mine, it is a disappointment that Disney failed to bring Dolby Vision to the disc. Still, the film looks great in HDR10. It truly is a treat, but it might have been even better. Highly recommended.

Definitely worth the 10 year build up to this movie! if you're tired of the good guys always winning then this is the movie from you. I love almost all the movies in the MCU but my biggest complaint with all of them is there isn't enough focus on the villain and not enough fighting with said villain either. This movie is the complete opposite of that and I enjoyed every minute! When I watched it in the theater I was sitting at the edge of my seat from the moment it started! Dont listen to the people with their whiny reviews of how it ended, this is part 1 of a two-part Avengers movie series so it makes perfect sense it ended the way it did. Just sit back (if you can) and enjoy the movie!

This review is going to be for the steelbook only and not the movie. This is probably one of the better steelbooks that I've picked up at any retailer. The illustration of Thanos wielding the Infinity Gauntlet looks much better in person than when I first saw it on the Best Buy website. As with the other Marvel steelbooks that Best Buy has carried exclusively in the past, it would appear this one sold out quickly. However, it didn't sell out immediately like many of the other Marvel titles have in the past so hopefully there's still a chance in someone getting one before the secondhand market takes over entirely and drives the price point up to obscene amounts of money.

It's kind of a miracle that this movie even exists. Think of the complexity involved in creating solo movies for all of these characters with different tones and styles over a 10-year period, then creating a story that combines them all into one cohesive narrative that gives each of them a moment to shine. Not to mention the logistical nightmare of filming with essentially 23 or 24 main lead actors from their own movies! The fact that this movie exists at all, is completley insane. The fact that it's also so GREAT is a gift from the movie gods. No movie has deserved to sit on my shelf in the great Best Buy Steelbook format as much as this one does. Thanks, Marvel Studios!!!

The movie was good that incorporated so many action heroes. The plot was good. The only negative was I though they over did the fight scenes with not much conversation.

Best Avengers movie of the series, and far superior to its sequel, Endgame. It was very well written and directed. Even the villain was written as a deep character who (unlike other villains) was not acting out of malice, but from his perspective, although misguided, was actually trying to make the universe a better place for humanity, even at great sacrifice to himself. The movie also brings together multiple characters and storylines which culminate into a spectacular ending, which should’ve had a spectacular follow up as a sequel. I highly recommend this film.

It was a good film and let's you see how the characters interact. I was shocked by the ending. I haven't followed the comics closely to know what to expect.

Pretty much all of the Marvel cinematic universe heroes are in this movie. It's like a comic book in film. It's Part 1 and Avengers: End Game will wrap up this story.

This movie is without a doubt the movie all marvel fans were waiting for. What the Marvel Cinematic Universe has accomplished with all of their movies leading up to this has never been done in the cinematic world. Not only is it a visual tour de force and has outrageous star power, the reworking of the infinity war tale is breath taking. As a huge fan of the original comic this movie is based on, I was blown away at how this movie stayed true to Thanos's character. I can't wait for the next installment. The packaging and cover art are great as always with 4k DVD, Blu-ray and digital download which I love. Being able to view this anywhere is awesome. Great product.

Another great Effects movie that pushes the limits of cg but not over the edge to look fake like some have done reducing believe-ability in the whole production . Not that you believe any of it but at the time for entertainment you can get into it and not need to say o that's dark so it covers the computer graphics ! If its dark in this one its not for that reason , its for effect purely . Nice to see all the characters and crystal clear ! When you watch this one its like sitting in a comfortable chair , you can really feel for the characters !

This movie takes place in outer space and uses one of the bad guys from Guardians of the Galaxy as the antagonist.[SPOILER] The whole idea is that Thanos wants to collect all five or six infinity stones so he can become the most powerful being in the universe. In doing so, many will die. The movie is actually quite dark and almost borders on an R rating if you ask me, but kids today are unfortunately numb to violence The movie was recorded digitally and so it looks really great but finished at 2K and up-converted to 4K. hence, it is not native 4K. It does look outstanding, but not a great as Atomic Blonde, which for a 2K upconvert is unbelievable.

I am a Marvel Movie Fan and Infinity War (with End Game) are a might conclusion to the Marvel Cinematic Universe's 10+ year narrative that unites all of the individual stories into an Epic Ending that will ultimately pay homage to the heroism of 4 classic Marvel Superheroes. That being said, this movie is the "darkness before the dawn" so be ready to cry before we can cheer in End Game.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Seeing all the Marvel characters was great. It was paced very well. I can't wait for the sequel to be released on blueray.

The DVD itself was in great working order. The movie was action packed but you have to see the next one (movie in series) to see how it really ends.

I have to say at the onset that I am more of a DC fan than Marvel, but the Marvel movies are really just amazing. For someone who is not familiar with all the Marvel storylines, I don't feel like I am at a loss. Although I am sure some deep references fly right over my head. Having seen all the Marvel movies to date, this was extremely satisfying to see where it had all been heading. There weren't many victories to celebrate and the losses were painful. A wonderful example of a super hero movie, making the characters so human and relatable. Even down to some interesting "choices" they made. I am looking forward to the next one already!
