The movie is fast paced and involves a supreme extraterritorial villain wanting to take over world's with the 5 stones and pretty much decks the avenger and used special effects. Ending is a bit of clog hanger for sequel. Very good movie.

Lots of nice extras in the movie. Good to watch before Endgame, as a refresher.

1st my review isn’t going to be about the movie itself, there are enough of those reviews. I’m more focused on the 4K picture and sound. The picture quality is excellent especially if you have a 4K tv with HDR. The contrast between light and dark and the overall pop of colors is amazing. The flesh tones of the characters look natural. The 4K adds enough detail and quality without enhancing the CGI to the point it looks fake. The extras are par for the course , I wish they had more disc bonus features for such a monumental movie. I’m surprised they didn’t encode the movie with Dolby vision which would have looked even better than HDR. The sound is great everything comes out clear without being muddled even with the intense action scenes. Overall a great presentation and a must have in your 4K collection. Now just waiting for the rest of the Marvel movies to hop onto 4K to complete my collection.

Of course, this is the grand payoff after 10 years of interconnected storytelling - rather like comic books, wouldn't you say...? Spoilers for the 12 people on the planet who still haven't seen the movie--- I respect the choice to tell a complete story where the adversary actually "wins" and accomplishes his goal. Contrary to the deluge of online postings, this is NOT an incomplete story or cliffhanger (like The Empire Strikes Back)... The movie is about Thanos, and tells HIS story with a complete character arc. Of course, many of our heroes will be restored and/or re-imagined in future installments (just as they have over decades of serialized storytelling in comics)... but that doesn't lessen the emotional impact of the events in this movie for me. Regarding the Blu Ray Steelbook release-- Simply Beautiful! I heartily recommend this item and am glad to add to the Marvel Steelbook shelf!

10 years and nearly 20 movies later, Marvel Studios finally brings the culmination of its early efforts home with Avengers: Infinity War. When the intergalactic despot Thanos begins laying waste to the cosmos to collect the all-powerful Infinity Stones, the Avengers and their Earthly and otherworldly allies must join with the Guardians of the Galaxy, to stop the Titan from achieving his ultimate goal: Eliminating half of all life in the universe in an attempt to re-balance everything. The end of the journey turns out to be not so important as the journey itself, as the action and character scenes all play important parts in shaping the outcome. Nearly everyone from all the previous movies is in this, and there's drama, comedy and pathos aplenty as Thanos begins pruning the ranks of heroes and villains alike. With the promise of even more to come, this is the one movie you simply cannot afford to pass up.
