I went into this movie not really knowing much about it. I watched the trailer and I thought it looked interesting and maybe some kind of foreign boogeyman type story. Watching the movie was really boring and drags on and on and not much happens until the last 1/4 of this movie, and I still didn't find any of it was worth waiting for. I didn't find this movie at all scary, and the ending was very confusing to me.

The script, performances, sound design, visual effects, etc. are all top-notch. The characters are interesting *and* it'll make you lose sleep.

Love the packaging with the pop up in the front. Classy. Ok movie for most, great movie for avid horror fans. Just the right amount of creepy.

Though I enjoyed the film and the cinematography was outstanding, there was definitely a lack of good pacing and shock value. I was disappointed over all, considering all the great reviews I read about it.

Although this movie had some very good parts, it was also jumbled at times. I did enjoy the way it was filmed as far as holding off till late in the movie to show you what the characters are dealing with.

Purchased after previously viewing and the case was a nice touch! Reminiscent of Darkness Falls and Beetlejuice minus some laughs.

I love movies like this. Starts off a little slow but puts you on the front of your sit and under the covers at times very quick.

The Babadook is one of the scariest and most thrilling movies I've seen in years. Definitely a must buy for any horror aficionado.
