One of the most original films of the year!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From the opening title sequence to the music picked for the ending credits, 'Baby Driver' feels like a puzzle where the pieces fit so well together you no longer even see the lines. It's funny, insightful, and doesn't shy away from the insane car chases. In a day and age where we watch more and more of our movies through a streaming service, this is one I went out of my way to buy and have in my physical collection at home.

More interesting than most car chases
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As car chase movies go, this is an interesting one. The driving looks like real world driving instead of cars flying through the air between buildings and being dropped out of airplanes. "Baby," the main character, is actually someone whose personal life you, the viewer, might care about, and his personal development is a big part of the movie. But it's still a car chase movie, not my favorite type of movie. The sound track has a dominant role. In most movies, the sound track is secondary to the visual action. In this movie the visuals are synced to the sound track, and that adds some interest.

A MUST_SEE FOR CAR-CHASE FANS!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The movie is an action-packed crime film with alot of car chases and precision driving. the special features are numerous including commentaries and breakdowns of various scenes. The previews are a bit of a disappointment as most of them are movies of different genres not related to the film.

Rhythmatic Heist
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much love was put into this movie by director, Edgar Wright. The whole movie has a rhythm about it and it isn't until that rhythm is disrupted, that things start to go awry. It's incredible to be listening to the soundtrack in the movie and everything that's going on in the scene is timed perfectly with the track. Plus, all the great heist action with twists is there making this one film that rarely misses a beat.

It's a movie. I'm a collector. 'nough said.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have watched the first chase scene, but ran out of time for the whole thing. Not a bad chase scene, but the chase scenes in 'TO LIVE AND DIE IN L.A.' and 'SEVEN UP' are better. And, to all of those who think the chase scene in 'BULLITT' is good, you really have to wake up...There is no way for anyone to drive down a steep street in San Francisco, turn a corner, and be racing through the hills above South San Francisco, turn another corner and be racing down Third Street on the San Francisco waterfront and across the lift bridge near the train depot. Really stuipid!!!!!!!

NOT ABOUT AN ACTUAL INFANT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie is about a driver whose name is Baby. He is not an actual baby, because that would be ridiculous. I mean... can you imagine? a three month old infant driving cars really fast with Jon Hamm in the back seat? Babies are supposed to be in car seats that face the back. If it was a baby, it wouldn't be able to reach the steering wheel from the backfacing car seat. And Jon Hamm would just drive since he is not a baby.

Mediocre at Best
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sometimes you get excited when you read raving reviews of a film. You buy the hype but are then disappointed when reality sets in. That describes this movie to a tee.

A unique experience!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This film is fantastic. It's like watching Grand theft auto the movie. There is plenty of violent set pieces to around, and it is set to a very interesting soundtrack. In fact, the music played throughout, flows with the onscreen action. Edgar Wright directed this film. It's a far cry from the projects he made with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. This is an extraordinary piece of work that you will not soon forget!

Great movie/great soundtrack
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Baby Driver (clearly named after the Simon & Garfunkel song) is an ode to both music and crime films. It follows B-A-B-Y Baby, the driver for a revolving gang of robbers, who wants (and has earned his way) out of the gang, but is unable to get away. Add in a love interest (hello, Lily James), non-stop action, and great songs by every band from Queen to The Damned, and you've got another Edgar Wright classic.

Excellent Movie with Excellent Music
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I wasn't sure what to think about this movie but having watched it a couple times now you begin to realize how well everything meshes and the little things you notice with how they use the music he listens to in order to mirror what is going on in the movie. Beyond just the music, the movie has an excellent story to it and is definitely a movie worth watching.

A straightforwards and fun film
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Baby Driver is well made, well-acted, and very well edited. I enjoyed it. It's not really a film that stuck with me and made me eager to rewatch, but I can't say I'd be opposed to popping it back in the player and giving it a rewatch. Simply put, it's a fun film that's definitely worth a watch, but not particularly memorable. A few years from now I probably won't think of it when looking for something to watch, but it's the type of film that I don't think I'd ever say no to watching.

Fun movie with a fantastic score
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Baby driver is great; what more can I say? The score is absolutely incredible, and the way it ties into the movie is something very rarely seen. The action and stunts are all superb, and the actors do a great job. If there's one problem, it's that I have to recommend waiting 2-4 hours after watching to drive anywhere to avoid driving like a total maniac.

I liked the fast action and the driver
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jamie and cast really put energy into this fast, moving chase and race. New take but not fast and furious quality. I do recommend it to viewers.

Another hit from Edgar Wright
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Edgar Wright. He's hands down one of my favorite writers and directors of all time. This movie is out of his genre (typically known for comedies), yet he knocks it out of the park. The writing is awesome, the action scenes are extremely well edited and the cast is composed of many fine actors. Great movie! And don't expect to see every plot point coming!

Awesome!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best movies this summer for sure was Baby Driver. Edgar Wright delivers a movie that is not a Blockbuster, that is not a sequel, that is not a superhero movie and this movie is on top of the best reviewed movies this year and well deserved, you need to check this one out. While its in theaters or when it releases on demand/bluray/dvd/digital/4KBluray.

Not just about driving fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not much of a "car" movie buff, but I heard this movie had a good soundtrack. It also had a couple of actors in it I recognized from good movies in the past, so I figured I'd give it a go. I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie! It was nice seeing familiar settings in Atlanta, but there was actually a good story behind the movie hype.

Fun Filled Action
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a really great heist flick with a great soundtrack, nonstop action and suspense, plenty of laughs, a great lineup, really creative uses of the music throughout (it's almost like a musical parody), and everyone looking like they're having a blast. if you love a good fast paced, action filled, suspenseful, and fun heist film, go check this one out.

It Was a Ride!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great performances in this movie, but the most memorable for me was Bats, the character played by Jamie Foxx. I was sincerely anxious every time he was in a scene because he did such an amazing job of being unpredictable and you never knew what was going to happen. In a story that already has complications and uncertainty, it added an element of stress for me that did end satisfactorily. The story is a bit over the top but is still engaging and fun to watch!

It’s an Edgar Wright movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie has all the style in the world. Take a Scorsese type of crime film and make it shot and edited like a music video, and you’ve got Baby Driver. And like any Edgar Wright movie on blu-ray it’s packed to the MAX with features, commentaries, b roll and storyboards for all you film buffs. Awesome movie made more awesome by being at home.

Great Blu-Ray for o Compliment a Great Movie
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great Blu-Ray to compliment a relentlessly entertaining movie. Edgar Wright once again proves his right in the hall of fame for modern filmmakers with an entertaining, perfectly edited, directed, and written crime action thriller. I can’t wait to see more.
