Great movie with one of the all time great actors.

I was very weary on returning to this film because I didn't know how well it holds up to today's standards but I was shocked and surprised. The story is just as good and the acting is wonderful. The 4k steelbook packaging looks great and the transfer is one of the best of the year. I would highly recommend this film.

I enjoyed this movie. The story is more about a rookie firefighter trying to earn the respect of his older brother and other firefighters while taking part in an investigation of a string of arson/murders. This detailed look into the duties and private lives of firemen naturally features widespread pyrotechnics and special effects. I also enjoyed the soundtrack.

Excellent movie. The sound and picture cannot be beat for a 31 year old movie. I already owned the 4K, but made no bones about double dipping for the gorgeous steel book. I have a problem, it's costly, but it sure looks good on my shelves.

I remember watching this fil as a kid witj my dad and enjoying it. The special effects with the rhe fire were very believable and thrilling for the time. Good performance by the actors and a beautiful steelbook to boot.

An often overlooked gem of a film. Excellent script, excellent cast, high octane action, a really great film. If you have not seen or heard of it, I invite you to take a chance on it. The disc has absolutely beautiful video and magnificent audio that anyone would be sure to enjoy.

It has been a few years since I last viewed this film and although some of the vehicles and tech used in this film make it a little dated (1991), this film is still a tour de force of acting, writing, directing, fire effects, and all else involved. My fiance had never seen it, she was completely engrossed and loved every minute.

These movies are wonderful. They have brilliantly choreographed fight scenes that are timeless. The stories are fun, just don’t take them has being honest. Sound and video quality is top notch in the Chinese version, with English subtitles. You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful Steelbook! Artwork is outstanding and the movie looks and sounds incredible now in 4K. The way it should be for all of our movies from now on. Get this edition soon! Well recommended for adult audiences.

The movie is alright. There aren't too many movies of this kind. Compared to Only the Brave, I'd rather watch WWE Raw than either one of these movies!

A lot to be said for families that are in professions that are handed down through the generations. This tells of such families, their life as firemen plus the experience it takes to recognize the beast fire can be.

This backdraft Steelbook is a piece of art. If you have not seen this movie you need to pick it up from Best buy. Great outside artwork and you also get inside artwork with this SteelBook.

Backdraft is one of my most favorite movies. And I can hardly wait to add Backdraft 2. Watching back to back is one thing I like. A true double feature.

This was a fantastic movie in really well done I find it amazing how they made the fighter into an actual character that sounds strange but you have to watch it to understand

Love this movie. I have put together a small theater with Dolby Atmos. This movie sounds awesome. So , it was a great watch especially after not seeing it for 40 years!
