Watched this movie as a kid with my father good to see it in hi Def really nice.

Had to drive 30 minutes to a local bestbuy so i could replace the damaged steelbook for one that was not damaged.

Your 4k movies won't play in the 4k blue ray disc player that I purchased .

Digital copy code included; watch as a dysfunctional brothers finally see each other in the right light as they work to sove who is setting a series of backdraft fires in the Chicago area. if the ending does not get to you then something is wrong.

Backdraft has always been one of my favorite movies. And it comes with a digital copy for my platform.

This is a great movie from start to finish. The story is awesome and the actors do a fantastic job. DeNiro And Russell are at their finest in this film. Baldwin and Russell lose their firefighting father in a fire in the beginning. Russell follows in his footsteps immediately and Baldwin does too later in his life. Someone is setting fires and killing people on purpose with backdrafts. Deniro and Baldwin are on the case trying to figure out who is doing it. You want to think all signs point to Russell's character but is it? This is a great movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat with great acting and better plot. The sound and picture are superb on blu-ray. This movie was Oscar-worthy for sure.

Ron Howard said he wanted to do a movie about the many mysteries of fire and how it lingers waiting to kill. His dilemma was CG at the time was fake looking. After much experimenting, talking to the best fire experts of the time he finally finds a way where he can use real fire in the movie for maximum effect and realness. To say the least, fire is one of the main characters in the movie besides Russell, De Niro, Donald Sutherland and a very young William Baldwin.

Wow its is a great classic, watched a few times before and still great and now even better because I was able to watch it in Spanish. I recomend this DVD to all ma friends and family and all the pople who likes action

Everytime I see this movie I think of the time that I watched it at a hotel and that night someone pulled the fire alarm. It freaked me out. But to get to the movie, it is very good and teaches you about fire.
