    Disappointed By Best Buy Mobile Audio Installation

    The technician started the installation of my radio, charged me, but couldn't finish because it was almost time to go! I made it known that I lived 35 miles away from store (he stated he does too), work a lot, and now have to make time to get back up there! I returned 2 separate times and no one was available to complete the installation. I was told the Audio/Mobile department of Best Buy is ONLY opened Sundays-Wednesdays! I should have known that he had to partially do the installation, due to time and they're ONLY opened part-time prior to being billed! I called the Customer Service # for help and that was a circus! There's no way to be connected to the location to speak with the technician! The hours of availability is not compatible for me and my business! Remind you, I've been billed for the products and installation services that has not even been installed! It's been over a month! I will get someone to uninstall the partially installed radio and the uninstalled Back-Up Camera, return the items, and go to a location with at least daily business hours! Im very disappointed in the treatment by Best Buy! This is the 2nd time I had an issue with installation/warranty at that location! First time (remote starter), I just gave up and let it go! I refuse to accept such treatment again!

    For the price, it is well featured. I am having an issue with the A M band not working. Will take back to see if it’s a connection issue or what. Also having problems loading phone book from iPhone 6, but that may be a user setup problem. As long as these 2 issues are satisfactorily addressed, I’m a happy camper!

    Excellent Geek Squad; TERRIBLE Troubleshooting

    Best Buy uses a third-party answering service. I tried for three days to make an appointment when my radio stopped accepting commands from the steering column just TWO DAYS after paying $950 to have it, a dash kit, and a backup camera in the car. I even went online to try to setup a troubleshooting appointment and was COMPLETELY UNABLE to do so! I had to make the round-trip HOUR DRIVE to the actual store to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT to come back and get my radio fixed! I have never been so frustrated with a company in my life. When I went to the store, the Geek Squad TEAM, one guy, said that it is so common that no one returns your calls and that you can't get through to the Geek Squad when something goes wrong that HE suggested coming to the store to make appointments. I was able to purchase everything - almost $1,000 worth of merchandise and services - online with no problem at all. But when their devices malfunctioned less than two days later I couldn't set up a troubleshooting appt. online. I LITERALLY HATE the Geek Squad contact service. However, when it came to the ONE GUY Geek Squad installing and later fixing the defective product - he did an excellent job. He was nice and helpful. I liked him. HATED everything else about the process of getting my devices fixed after malfunctioning. Did I mention that I HATE your troubleshooting call center and online interactions? TERRIBLE TROUBLESHOOTING SERVICE!!!

    The back up camera is nice but they didn’t hook up my sensors that beep like they were before. Now I only have the camera. I’ve been trying to call the location but it always says they are not taking calls not matter when or what day.
