    The camera has not installed yet. It’s been a month and i have to wait another month for installing!!! I was supposed to have it being installed next week but they had to cancel because the installer quit!

    They didn’t install it. The online sales guy told me this might happen, so I brought it up at the store and tried to correct it. They said I was all set. I wasn’t.

    I have used Geek Squad many times before and always had really great service. Unfortunately, the service at the Leesburg store has been terrible. I am still trying to get the correct backup camera installed for my GPS after a month, and am getting virtually no help from the Geek Squad. What is going on?

      We apologize that you're having a tough time getting that install completed. We never want someone to have to wait like that. Please reach out tot he leadership at your local Best Buy. They are best positioned to help you get that scheduled and completed.

    Didn't wire correctly

    Didn't wire correctly. When I press the camera button on my deck nothing shows up from the backup camera. This is at the Pinole, CA. Didn't have this problem in San Jose, CA store. Rushed survive never double check if everything was working properly.

    Dont trust the car stereo dept at this location

    When my back up camera was installed, the tech wired it into my airbag wires. That means, every time i put my car in reverse, i ran the risk of my airbag deploying. I had this fixed by a repair shop and did not return to this best buy location.

    The rear cameras worked great but the wire was run under my car for several feet and it didn’t take long for water to compromise my camera. I had to buy another camera and a different installer hooked it up correctly. I had no issues after the second installation.

    Sloppy back up camera placement

    The agent mounted my camera but did not position my license plate correctly. My license plate came off 2 days after the service and I had to get a new license plate and remount the camera myself

    My back up camera was installed July 13 and stopped working July 20 I’m disappointed but I have a appointment to get it working again on Aug 17th

    The installation dept had no waiting area and the store was closed. I was forced to wait outside in 27 degree weather. I am recouperating from Chemotherapy and was left outside freezing while they installed a back up camera.

    They destroyed my camera

    They destroyed my camera and drilled holes in my rubber seals to run wires where I told them not to. Shortcuts are more important than keeping my trunk waterproof. They didn't charge for the failed installation but now I'm stuck with a damaged camera and trunk.

    So they installed this camera license plate and somehow jacked my Third brake light (long bulb) it has not worked in months. Ask me if I've tried to schedule appointments with Geek Squad to repair their errors. Very disappointed.

    Got the camera for my Birthday and couldn’t even get it installed cause they didn’t have the correct Mounting kit for the stereo so I wasted the day off and my gas Driveing from Callahan to west side of Jacksonville for nothing

    POORLY scheduled. Was told by the Tech that it was suppose to be scheduled for and was a 2 hour install, Setting it up for only just an hour window. THEN, wanted to rush thru the install to get done by the time his next one showed up. Charging me FAR to much

    Camera angle

    The rear vision camera is pointed straight out. I cannot see the area immediately behind the rear bumper, only what's two or three feet away and beyond. The camera should have been angled downward, to the area where a small child or object could be seen.

    First time using radio install gave me apt for Jan 6:@ 11 am scheduled my day for install waited 3 weeks for install then they change apt to jan13@545pm I returned my radio equipment I'm buying some where else .I talked to manager sun he responded so not my problem

    Back Up Camera / Monitor

    The monitor gets static picture and turns off and on with reverse view on the monitor while car is moving (traveling). Due to quarantine with COVID19 I could not return to the store to get it checked, repaired or replaced.

    Very poor service when selling me my back up camera devices I was told that I needed to buy $600 more worth of items the last minute terrible service not knowledgeable. This was for my car
