This is a nice set. The audio and picture quality for both films is terrific. There are some neat special features, which some might enjoy. The first film is better than the second one, but if you enjoy this sort of Michael Bay action extravaganza, this set is for you.

This double feature was on sale and I couldn't pass it up. The chemistry between Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in these films is near perfect; though Martin's character does come off as shrill sometimes. The second movie runs a bit long, and is not as tightly plotted as the first one, but these are Summer popcorn Blockbusters after all, and driven more by the interplay between the main characters than any pretentions toward Art or profound statements. Pop up some kernels, lean back, and enjoy....

Got this for a gift and it's a good action comedy.

lots of F bombs but otherwise a good entertaining show

I enjoy the movies. The reason it gets 3 stars is because best buy advertises it as having the digital copy. It only includes the digital copy for bad boys 2. NOT the first movie. Had i known, i would've probably just went for the 4k versions.

After years of of waiting and teaser promo's when Blu ray first hit the market Sony Pictures has released Bad Boy's II in the format it deserves. The first movie has been available for some time but the blockbuster sequel finally gets the high definition treatment. The 4k transfer of Bad Boys II has excellent video quality and the soundtrack has never sounder better. Lot's of action and humor make up for the long wait. This box set is a must for every collection.

I was always a fan of the original Bad Boys movie. I had wanted to purchase it on disc and never got around to it until I saw it on sale at Best Buy. The addition of the sequel is sn added treat. The plot is a solid buddy cop action plot and the characters as portrayed by Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are funny and serious when needed. I can easily recommend this Blu Ray 20th anniversary rekease. Bonus features are excellent as well.

Full disclosure: I am not a big Michael Bay movie fan. I find most of his work overblown and preposterous. However, this caffeinated Will Smith-Martin Lawrence cop comedy/adventure and its unnecessary but still fun sequel are among Bay's best (a left-handed compliment maybe, but praise nevertheless). Maybe it is the chemistry of the two stars, both in fine, foul-mouthed form; maybe it is the ultra violent plot they find themselves teasing out; maybe it is the Southern Miami settings. Anyway, "Bad Boys" works as brain candy for a dull afternoon if you have nothing better to do. And in this set, picked up on sale for a song, two pieces of candy are better than one.

I went to go watch the second movie one day on DVD and nowadays, on large screens, it appeared so primitive to me almost reminding me of the switch years ago from VHS to DVD. I immediately stopped it in search of the Blu-ray version. I was able to score this set for under $10 making it a win-win situation having both movies now in HD.

I have been waiting for Bad Boys 2 to be released on blu ray. Rare ocassion where the sequel is better, though both movies are good. This package had both movies and even though I already owned the first this was a great deal at $9.99 for both plus it was part of a BestBuy bogo free offer so I got these and a BestBuy steelbook movie for $9.99 which is a great way to keep customers.

Note - As of 5/8/2017 this set was the only way to get Bad Boys II on Blu Ray. This 2 Disc collection offers up an improved transfer for Bad Boys and is the debut of Bad Boys II on Blu. Both films look and sound great and all the important features from the previous DVD/Blu releases have been carried over, including Director Michael Bay's excellent commentary track on the first film.

A great collection of films. Bad Boys II is one of the best action movies ever made. This is a must own set for any action lover. Also the music is really good for both films with memorable soundtracks that newer films, sadly, have been lacking the past decade and a half.

I bought these to replace my DVDs and what an upgrade! I had seen I on Blu-Ray before but this editions is easily superior in both pic and sound quality. I was just looking to replace I now that it had a new Blu transfer and hoped it was as good as the Independence Day anniversary release, and it is! Getting II was a bonus and given the price and packaging a no-brainer purchase.

I love Bad Boys I and II. I can't wait for Bad Boys III to come out! What a great deal to get both movies at the Best Buy sale price! The quality is awesome and getting both movies on digital is too good for words. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are excellent in their roles and cops!! I wish we had police officers like them in my neighborhood. Whatcha Gonna Do? Buy it!! :-)

Focusing this review on the packaging. This item comes in a cardboard slipcover and includes individual blu ray bases for BOTH movies. Might not matter to some, but I personally like having individual cases. The original Bad Boys movie is also a different version than the standalone blu-ray that has been available for some time. First time BB2 has been available on Blu-ray.

Waited an extremely long time for Bad Boys II to come out on bluray so to find out that I could get both of them on bluray in a box set for the price of half of a full value movie it was a no brainer. If you're an action movie fan than this should be part of your collection as the action sequences are great and the chemistry between Smith and Lawrence is absolutely perfect
