The title of the movie is Bad Santa but it really isn't a Christmas. It is a low brow comedy that is set during Christmas. Billy Bob Thornton places an alcoholic shopping mall Santa who took the job in order to rob the mall. But along the way he befriends a lonely and obese child that turns this bad santa into a good one.

you won't believe it, they actually did that you'll say! if you're easily offended, do not bother with this movie. think South Park inappropriate and funny, that's who this movie targets

Great movie, definitely is for the adult audiences but it’s one of those movies great for watching anytime of the year

'BAD SANTA" is a funny comedy, but ranchy and the F word is utilized A LOT, but is a good. Saw it in the movie theatre when first appeared. It takes place in Arizona, BUT was actually filmed in TORRANCE, california at the DEL AMO mall, where I used to work in the 1980s. This part of the mall which the store is in the movie, has been torn down and is now an open air portion with the movie theatre in THIS part of the area now. Billy Bob is great as is John Ritter and Bernie Mac (which this movie makes you miss both of them). So DONT BE BAD!, sleigh ride to your BEST BUY store and pick up this copy, It consists of both versions (theatrical and directors cut), PLUS a commentary, and extra features. Havent seen BAD SANTA 2 yet but will. DO NOT BE NAUGHTY! BE GOOD and go to BEST BUY (which has the Best Buys and best prices) AND PUT THIS IN YOUR STOCKING! BUY THIS STOCKING STUFFER! And Ho-Ho-HO all the way!

THIS IS A GOOD MOVIE FOR WHEN YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO AND ITS RAINING OUTSIDE, BUT NOT FOR KIDS!

This movie is great, just had to rewatch it with Christmas coming up.

It is an older and just an okay movie. The story is alright.

Saw this way back when at the movies. Best Buy had it on sale so I picked it up. Picture quality is pretty good as is audio. The movie itself is rather raunchy but still hilarious. I don;t laugh out loud much but this is one of the movies that does that to me. I don't think it was as funny as I remember it being when it was out in the movies but still worth watching if you like your comedies on the dirtier side of things. Definitely enjoyable time and the quality overall of this blu-ray is worth it.

Upgraded this bluray version from the dvd copy. Watching the directors cut of the movie has some subtle but interesting differences from the theatrical cut and the un-rated version. A pretty good transfer overall and better sound mix. Still a good time for some good adult laughs.

This was a purchase to replace a lost DVD. It is raunchy and foul mouthed and definitely NOT for the kids!! I felt bad for the kid in the movie but not for Santa aka Billy Bob Thornton's character! This will not be on the yearly Christmas movie listing in my house! Watch at your own risk.

Growing up this was one of my favorite comedies. I must say I was disappointed in the second one which was made years later. But this movie will go down In my book as one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. And if you buy this set, you get the unrated version as well as the directors cut.

This movie is not for everyone, but I would still have to recommend it. The language is deplorable, but that's what makes it a very funny movie. I would recommend it for all baby boomers, butt it will never replace "A Christmas Story" as our generations cult Christmas classic.

This is absolutely a Christmas Movie! In HD and digital, hard to pass up that value. Unrated is definitely the way to go. That one scene makes me LOL every time, you know the one!

If your into Chain-smoking, beer drinking, foul-mouthed Santa's, thieving elves and s#@-crazed bartenders then this is the movie for you. Billy Bob Thornton and cast make for a great Christmas Comedy of crime to watch.

Funny movie for the holidays but for the adults only. Please don't let your younger kids watch this. Billy Bob is great in this film, it makes you wonder if he was actually drinking he played the part so well. Highly recommended

A funny movie that deserves at least 1 watch around Christmas. The only problem is that there's about 20 too many f-bombs than your standard comedy. I'm fine with f-bombs, but it makes it harder to get other people to watch it with you.

This is a good bluray edition of this very adult Santa movie. Includes the versions of the movie, theatrical and unrated. There are a good amount of special features on the bluray also. Includes Digital HD copy.

This was a decent adult themed film. I would not recomend it for children but for the adults who are about to thier limit with all the Christmas hype, there ais some pretty funny off color humor in there to relieve a little holliday stress

Dont worry about the sappy Christmas movies. This is the movie you want to watch at Christmas time. Well, it's not really appropriate for young kids, but seriously, how many times can you watch Scrooge? Well worth a watch.
