I needed a black iPhone case with a smooth flat back, good style and superior protection for the device itself. The CaseMate case I purchased for my 5s has a textured flat back with grooves and was not available in black for the 6 so I had to research deeply for a new case. The Ballistic case is considerably thicker and clunky compared to the slim, stylish and VERY effective CaseMate I'm used to. That mentioned, I LOVE the Ballistic. I have dropped the 6 but only from short heights, nothing to be frightened of. Without this case, my iPhone would have been damaged. With the CaseMate/5s, I have dropped the 5s 3x from my ear to asphalt and concrete. After one particularly bad drop, the iPhone slid 10 feet from me after dropping nearly 6 feet. Zero damage to the 5s in a slimmer case. I am confident this thicker, tougher Ballistic case will perform equally well with the 6. With rubber at key protection points at the corners of the phone plus a deep rubber ring around the display, I am very confident the 6 will experience zero damage. And I doubt it will slide away. It is reasonably easy to remove and insert the iPhone with this one-piece case for intensive cleaning, to show off the iPhone and to take selfies that include the iPhone. I plan to purchase a 6 Plus and will purchase this case for that iPhone.

It's slightly thicker than the phone but not a big bulky case that prevents you from using as its suppose to be used. I get a lot of compliments on its appearance and peace of mind that it won't break. I love it!!!!

This is my third ballistic case and have had no problems with this case in the past. The sleek design makes the case very compact is to fit in your pocket while providing a lot of protection.

The tough rubber edges and corners should offer great protection from a drop onto a hard surface and it provides some grip for one-handed operation (iPhone 6)". I've had a couple other cases that had a clear cover over the screen. This one leaves the screen open so I get the full benefit of my phone's touchscreen features. The cutouts for the camera lenses are also open - another case had a clear cover that downgraded the quality of photos. This case doesn't provide waterproof/resistant protection, but getting my uncovered touchscreen back immediately showed me what I'd been missing while using my previous case. The trade off is worth it for me for most situations.

The new cases are more designed for the pocket and the ballistic is no exception. It has the rubber protection without the stubborn fabric grabbing. It also has a smooth back and very light weight. I tried the Otter and found it too bulky. Then I tried the Patriot and found the screen cover annoying. The Ballistic is the perfect medium. It's not waterproof but will protect from drops (I know because I have already dropped my twice).

This provides great protection, looks very nice, and still fits in my pocket.

This Iphone case certainly provides solid protection. It has over sized corners that protect from accidents on the corner of the phone. The back is somewhat skid resistant without being too rough. The only complaint is this phone with case is a little large for the front pocket of a gentleman's slacks.

I purchased the Ballistic case because for whatever reason Oakley decided not to make a case for the iPhone 6... I was looks for a durable protective case and this really fit the bill. It's a bit bulky but offers the protection I needed. All around a pretty good case for the money.

Needed a new & tougher case for my iPhone 6 and this one is perfect! I love the color (blue/gray), it's light weight, allows me to carry my phone in my back pocket w/o it feeling bulky, and has protected my off from damage when I dropped it.

This phone case can still fit in my pocket and it is a quality case. I have dropped my phone multiple times from about 4 ft high and there have been no issues at all. It also looks nice.

Got this for my son's iPhone 6s and he likes the weight and feel of the case. It is well protected while not feeling heavy or clunky. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great case, has survived several drops of 4+ feet with no harm to the phone at all, small enough to still fit in your pocket but offers great protection

I like the extra protection for my phone and the case is slim enough that it's not too bulky to slip into my pocket. I still had to buy a screen protector though.

After returning the one I picked that looked cool, I settled on one that would protect my phone without being overly bulky. this was a great choice for that.

Nice case for an I-phone 6, could be a little more stylish. But overall a nice case that doesn't add a lot of bulk to your I-phone but still protects it well.

Really good quality case for Iphone, gives protection and has a nice look. Recomended for people who is looking at the cellphone most of the time.

Fits & protects well. Can stick to pocket liner though. Can also slide on table a bit too easily if sitting flat. Overall good solid protection.

I'm protects my phone in all the right spots is not water proof and it could be q little too bulky but nothing compared with the otter box

This case was the perfect fit for my phone and the grip on it was excellent. I tend to drop things a lot and this protected my phone with ease!

I bought a new iPhone 6 and the sales lady suggested I get a case right away. I considered waiting to get one on line but decided to get one right away. I chose the ballistic case because it was reasonably priced and it looked like it would be protective and durable. It indicated it had been safety tested from 7 feet. A friend of mine dropped my new phone the very next day on concrete while taking a picture. I was glad I had the new case, the phone was fine and the case stood up well.
