The Bambu Lab A1 is easily one of the most impressive 3D printers I have ever used. From setup to daily operation, everything about this machine feels thoughtfully designed for both beginners and experienced makers alike. Unboxing and setup took minutes, not hours, thanks to its intuitive assembly and clear instructions. Within a short time, I was printing high-quality parts with virtually no tuning required. Print quality is exceptional right out of the box. Layer lines are clean, details are sharp, and dimensional accuracy is spot-on. The automatic bed leveling works flawlessly, eliminating one of the most common frustrations in 3D printing. Combined with the A1’s reliable extrusion system, failed prints are extremely rare. We’ve had this 3D printer for around a month now. My wife and I have had so much fun with it, from printing fidget toys for our daughter to printing useful things to help with organization and things like that. The possibilities are truly endless. Learning to create our own designs has been a process, we have zero previous experience with 3D printing, so we’re still figuring that out but there are so many files to choose from if you aren’t interested in designing one yourself. This is a great entry level 3D printer.

Switching from my old Ender 3 to the Bambulab A1 has been a serious upgrade. The difference in print speed is insane—prints that used to take all day now finish in just a few hours. Also, multicolor printing…. With the AMS, I can print in multiple colors without having to pause/change filaments. It all just works, and the resulting prints are super clean. Overall, it’s faster, way easier to use, and I can submit/monitor prints from my computer or phone - highly reccomend!

Works right out of the box, the Printer is very easy to set up and assemble. The AMS lite works perfect for multi color printing. Also the nozzle swap is as easy as pulling 2 tabs and taking it out and swapping for a different size! If you’re new to 3D printing, this is the best bang for your buck printer!

I've been using the bambu a1 combo 3d printer for about 3 months and i have to say this printer is so easy to setup and use even with the AMS filament rack. You can use up to 4 different color at once without changing in manually. You cant go wrong with this one is all i got to say.

This is my fourth FDM printer, my first Bambu. Wow, am blown away with the quality, how great it just works without messing around with it too much. And the ability to print multiple colors, definitely a big plus. Some folks are torn between this and the A1 mini, go for this one as you will never regret the large print plate

Bambu Lab filament just works great. It loads easily, doesn’t tangle, and prints come out smooth and clean every time. The RFID tag makes setup super simple, since the printer knows exactly what you’re using without any guesswork. The colors look good, layers stick well, and you don’t have to fuss with settings much. It might cost a little more than some off-brand spools, but the ease of use and reliable results make it worth it. If you want prints that come out right without a lot of hassle, this filament is a solid choice.

I did a lot of reviews on the best 3D printers before purchasing my first one and found that Bambu A1 offered a lot of the features that I was looking for and found others did not have. Some of the features I looked for included auto bed leveling, dual Z-axis lead screws, improved nozzle cleaning, vibration dampening, print area size, print quality, and overall reliability. The printer runs great, the software interface has been very smooth, and the AMS lite integration makes printing multiple colors seamless. I would highly recommend it.

We love our 3D printer.. ease of use for someone with no 3d printing experience is excellent.. perfect starter printer. My kids love it!

This is a great 3D printer for the money. Being able to print in multiple colors is a must have in my opinion. I am just starting out in this hobby, but would definitely consider turning this into a business. This printer is easy to setup and use. It is straight forward and does a really good job printing large or small items. Make sure you do some adjusting on your multi-color prints. It can waste quit a bit of filament, but do some research and you can make some changes and minimize the waste.

Bought the combo with AMS because I wanted the ability to do multi-color on the same plate. Not disappointed at all! Fantastic machine that allows a beginner like me to quickly get up and running.

The Bambu Lab A1 has completely blown me away. From the moment I set it up, it was clear this printer was built for people who actually want to print. Setup was fairly fast and painless, calibration was basically automatic, and within minutes I was producing items.

I want to preface this review with - I did SO much research before feeling confident with making such a big purchase. I purchased the Bambu Lab A1 3D Printer at the end of May for my son's 14th birthday. It hasn't stopped printing since! Lol Extremely user friendly, the app contains more "pre-made" options than your heart could ever desire. He has yet to install any "3D Model Creation" applications. The filament lasts longer than I expected and you can create quite a few projects before you need more. My son utilized all 4 filament slots, and is able to customize the color stories of each print he creates. We've ran into one printing error, and the system trouble shooting guide makes it easy to understand how to fix a problem. Make sure to keep the printing plate clean. I am so impressed with this machine! 10/10 reccomend!

Needs an adult to setup. Got it for my 15 year old, he picked it up really quick. One thing I do not like is the amount of plastic poop that it creates during multi color print. It is a necessary evil for quality, wish it was less, other wise no issues so far. Coming back to 15 year old's experience, he is pretty much hooked up, haven't lost interest even after a month :-). The Bambu app has already availably designs that you can easily print. I my self was impressed with my very first 3D print. Great product. The one star reduced is for the plastic poop only. Great product so far. The AMS is a great add on, allows auto feed from 4 different spools of filament, easy install. Also automatically chooses the filament needed when doing multi color print.

Awesome printer. It works right out of the box. After about 60 minutes of setup and calibration, I was printing right away.

I gave the printer as a birthday present to my cousin. I told her i would help her set it up if needed. She was able to set it up and start printing right away, and has told people how much she loves it. It is easy to get started and easy to use. Produces good quality prints.

Great value for a reliable printer. Very beginner friendly. You can easily get successful prints within 30 minutes of setting up.

Super impressed with this unit so far. We are pretty new to 3D printing -- with our daughter just getting into it in her college classes -- and, she's enjoyed the speed and ease of use of this unit. She's even saying that it's better than the ones she's been working with in her college lab!

The absolute best printer for any beginner, if you're getting into the world of 3d printing and just want a hassle free experience then this is for you!

So much easier than my old 3d printer! Faster and better quality, too. I've only had a couple bad prints out of many dozens that I've done in the last few weeks and I think both of them were my fault for messing around with the settings.
