Picked this up for my 11yr old son and 13yr old daughter which asked for a 3D printer. Ordered an assortment of color filament to go with it and after about an hour to assemble and figure a few things out, the kids were printing. This is a very user friendly printer with easy to understand app and user interface. Highly recommend the AMS. This printer is easy to use and a great choice for beginners.

I replaced an Ender with this printer when the cables went bad on the Ender. This printer was very easy to assemble and setup. It does most of the work for you and takes the guess work and manual tuning out of the equation. The multi-colors is nice to have to do multi-color prints, but also nice to store 4 different colors and not having to change rolls when you want to print a different color.

The Bambu A1 combo is an absolute amazing 3D printer. I am very satisfied with the purchase of this product an the staff at my local Bestbuy was astounding at the time of my purchase and with the help in renewing my Geek squad account for the protection my product was a tremendous selling point for me to returning to even buy more products at this location.

My second from Bambu, have the A1 Mini, a amazing printer, so it was easy to decide on getting the larger capacity A1 with the AMS. Most of the time it just prints stuff that come out much better than my other printers of 3 years ago. once in a blue moon it stops and lets you know something is up, for me it a spool tangle, its just a amazing machine.

The A1 Combo is the strongest “prosumer” printer in its price class. You get multi‑color printing with AMS Lite, auto‑calibration, active flow compensation, and 256×256×256 mm build volume — features normally found in $800–$1,200 printers. For someone who already uses Bambu printers, the A1 Combo fits perfectly into your workflow.

We absolutely love our Bambu 3D printer. It has been so easy to use, and the print quality has been amazing. My 10-year-old is doing great with it and has been able to learn quickly and confidently. It has made 3D printing fun, exciting, and much less intimidating for our family. We are very happy with this printer and would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially beginners and families.

The Bambu Lab A1 Combo with AMS Lite is one of the best 3D printers for home use. It prints quickly and produces excellent quality. AMS Lite makes printing more convenient. It's a great option for those who simply want to print color models.

Gave this as a Christmas Gift to my father. He absolutely loves it. Great beginner 3d printer. Has everything you would want/need for a 3d printer.

The Bambu Labs A1 series really are some of the easiest systems to get up and running. Normal PLA seem to work very well and without many problems. Once you start to use other types of materials, it can get tricky (with all printers). I'm happy with my A1 with AMS Lite. The AMS is the only part that is challenging. Once in a while it doesn't recognize filament to load. This should allow manual override.

Iv owned about a dozen different 3d printers and currently have a p2s, x2d, and multiple A1s. This printer will meet 95% of your needs and is an exceptional value still in 2026. Get the 4 year geek squad warranty and run it hard.

I was really excited about the Bambu lab a1 combo. Even tho I returned it 3x I’m hoping 3rd times a charm because since getting the replacement I haven’t had any real issues set up was easy love how user friendly it is especially for someone one who wants to get right to printing I’m happy with it so far

Coming from an older single color printer. This was a much needed upgrade. Its alot quieter and faster also. Easy setup and easy operation. Got it with the AMS. Printer automatically switches colors so no need to step in.

Has been so much fun to use! We had an initial problem setting up the filament, but was our fault and worked through it and everything was fine. Love that I can connect to it from my job and print while I'm working so it can be ready for me when I get home. Some smaller items don't stick very well (we need to get a specialized plate for that) but most print just fine! BE prepared to be constantly buying filament because you will have so much fun! I have made so much for my classroom, students and other teachers. Got the GEEKSQUAD for 4 years of protection which I'm sure will pay off!

Switching from my old Ender 3 to the Bambulab A1 has been a serious upgrade. The difference in print speed is insane—prints that used to take all day now finish in just a few hours. Also, multicolor printing…. With the AMS, I can print in multiple colors without having to pause/change filaments. It all just works, and the resulting prints are super clean. Overall, it’s faster, way easier to use, and I can submit/monitor prints from my computer or phone - highly reccomend!
