3D Printer was a gift for out School n who turned 11. He has a much cheaper one from Amazon. You get what you pay for. It crapped out in 5 months. I bought this one after a thorough search and reviews. We went with this one because of previous reviews, price point and the 2 year warranty that comes with being best buy rewards membership. The 2 year warranty that you can take to a brick and mortar location; really puts the purchase at ease. You don't have to call or email anyone. Just take it to Best buy. After unboxing, pretty straight forward. The instructions are really straight forward. Setup is easy. My 13 year old help set it up. We have several different filament rolls they all fit just fine. The App for the phone is easy as well. The only thing when first printing is the error message for filament jam. Very sensitive sensors on the feeders for filament rolls. I took off the 4 tube rubber holder and just used the 5 tube coupler holder. After doing that no problem. I would also recommend making or putting something that catches the excess filament after it heats up or switches filament. The nozzle has a little clip that pushes or flick the excess filament to the side. If you are good with just picking it later of the table or floor. That's cool to. You can also print one and attach to side of heat nozzle to catch or collect for you. The unit because of size it is a little noisy and vibrates the dresser he has it on. But as far as ease of use and set for a novice user of 3D printing. This was the way to go. We are happy.

This product is great. I have not had any problems with the printer. It makes good quality material prints. The app also has a lot of models that make it easy to find something to print. Assembly was detailed and straightforward.

I’m very impressed with this 3D printer. Setup was quick and easy, and the print quality came out amazing right from the first print. The machine runs smoothly, prints fast, and has been very reliable so far. I mainly use it for custom NFC keychains and business products, and the detail quality is excellent. The app and controls are simple to use, even for beginners. Definitely worth the money if you want a fast and dependable printer. Highly recommended!

Upgraded from my A1 Mini and made a lot of modifications on this. The only thing that stuck out to me is Bambu made some changes from what I'm used to seeing unboxing this. The allen keys are regular allen keys, no grip with a Bambu logo, no color palette, everything's in bags without zips (so if you have spare screws be sure you have a ziplock bag and a sharpie to label them) and the lubricant grease is a bag instead of the bottle cap like the lubricant oil. Putting everything together was easy, but I couldn't help but notice the slight drop in quality in that regard. Other than that the assembly was easy to put together. The only main issue with the build quality is when I was trying to troubleshoot by unscrewing one of the pieces to get to the extruder it was so incredibly tight the screw stripped. Luckily I have spare parts to replace it. I've already put over 300 hours of printing on this thing and put it through some tricky filaments on the ams lite which worked for the most part. I was so close to get it work between PLA and TPU but for some reason whenever it switched to TPU the feeder will pull out the filament as it was about to feed into the extruder. When I went to manual maintenance, if you let it keep feeding into the extruder it will run fine but it's odd that it doesn't. This was used with a TPU 85A from Inland. Now I've heard Bambu has a specific TPU filament that works with AMS Lite that might avoid this issue but I have yet to try it. After heavily drying some trickier filaments, I was able to print PET-CF and PLA-CF on the AMS Lite with hardly any issues. It gets the job done, prints flawlessly (even the complex ones) and the biggest bonus as always is the ability to plug and play, the efficient speed times, the ecosystem, and their slicer software that takes the cake.

This is an excellent 3D printer. I came from a Creality as my first, and it was just constant maintenence and tinkering. This thing just works. The AMS Lite is a great addition and allows you to use 4 different colors at a time in your prints. The app itself isn't that great. There's no included slicer and you can't really customize your prints too much if you find something in Bambu Handy, ng like an Ender or K1, get ready for some disappointment. I included a picture of a phone game grip as an example of something I printed. That's a print that came from Bambu Handy.

I chose the the A1 for it's track record. It's highly rated for ease of of use, reliability, and print quality. I've had it just over a month and I'm very impressed with the printer. The Bambu Handy App is easy to use and has thousands free print files available.

I've put hundreds of hours on this printer already. It was set up and ready to print in about an hour, the AMS can be disassembled and attached to the top of the printer so you can feed your filaments from a dry box. Absolutely a great starter printer. So far I've had only one problem where the nozzle clogged using the Bambu provided presets. Just earlier this week there was an update that allows the printer to detect clogs and stop the print so the one failure I've had in over 300 hours would've been a non-issue. I was worried about the bed slinger design vs core XY when I bought this printer for tall prints. Recently I printed a 250mm vertical box that only had a 20mm x 100mm contact patch on the bed oriented with the 20mm side in the direction the bed moves. about 10 hours into the print I got stressed that all the movement would cause the print to tip over. It didn't. The included texture plate holds on to the prints like you would not believe. In my picture I have a cheap enclosure from amazon ($30) and a pretty cheap sunlu drybox/filament drier that holds 4 rolls and feeds to my AMS. Bambu doesn't recommend an enclosure for these printers but I print in my home office and the smells were unpleasant and gave me headaches so having an enclosure with a vent hookup to a window has made printing seamless. I wouldn't recommend trying to heat up the enclosure at all. The electronics aren't designed for it. Could not recommend more.

I have worked with multiple 3D printers and I have to say BambuLabs fool proofed them! We literally put it together from the box, it calibrated itself it was ready to print. We have been printing like crazy and now in the beginning stages of starting a business and will be purchasing more of the A1! The multicolor with the AMS lite is so worth it as well so I don’t have to manually change the filament every time the color changes. It also has a camera and we can watch how it’s printing from far away through the app. In love is an understatement!

I bought this as a gift for my wife, and it’s been running non-stop ever since. She’s been using it constantly, and the machine just keeps up without any issues. The print quality is excellent, and everything feels very well-built and reliable. It’s been a great experience so far, especially seeing how easy it is to use and how consistently it delivers. Definitely a great investment and an amazing gift.

These are a great little printer. The print quality out of the box is awesome, and it eats all brands of filaments without hitch. We have loved the a1 printers and have had great luck with them. Currently we have 2 and they are super strong runners with very little downtime. Due to their cost, they are hard to beat. With the Bambu app, you can print about anything your heart desires… the pc software further builds on that and allows any tweaking that may be necessary for trickier prints. Overall, this is the printer you should buy as your first printer…. And maybe as your second…. And third…. And fourth….

This has been such a little workhorse. We have had it two weeks and its been going pretty much non-stop. We have had no issues at all it has over 190 hours on it. The print quality has been great. We have printed all different types of items and it has performed well. My husband printed a mount for the AMS to mount it on top. That has been a great addition. It has given us more space and made it more like the other machines. Having the the AMS is definitely a game changer. I highly recommend it.

I love this Bambu Lab A1 (with AMS lite) 3D printer so much! My kiddos and I have had so much fun making things with it! We have never owned a 3D printer and I did a lot of research before buying this one and this is definitely the perfect 3D printer for beginners. The printer has very well written step-by-step instructions to put it together. When you buy a Bambu Lab 3d printer, you will end up downloading the Bambu Handy app and there are thousands of 3d files on there that you can use for free (for personal use only) and the option to buy the commercial licenses if you wanted to sell the item. We have had this printer for about 2 months now and we have honestly made about 30-40 different items so far. It is so fun and I am amazed at the types of things you can make with a 3d printer. There are many different types of filament that you can buy for filament that is super strong, flexible, glow-in-the-dark, food grade material, or just cheaper filament to make fidgets and cute little toys. We have made lots of keychains, earrings, fidget spinners, games, toys, a variety of other types of fidgets, cute little animals, whistles, types of flutes, a desktop zen garden, a fruit washing bowl and many other cute items and gifts for friends and family. The possibilities are endless!!! I have seen plans for all kinds of different organizers, vases, home decor, artwork, clocks, lamps, a cat running wheel, and seriously everything you could imagine. I have only had a couple of minor issues so far and the printer is so user-friendly because it walk you through how to fix issues. This machine really is the best and I would highly recommend it for anyone!

This 3D printer is very user friendly perfect for beginners like me. Very easy to learn, setup and use. It can print small details on designs. I make keychains and earrings which required smooth and great details and I always like the outcome. It’s like using a regular office printer.

Absolute love this 3-D printer. I was so glad when I saw Best Buy started selling these in store. I waited awhile to get mine but very glad I did because this printer is awesome. I will never go back to any other machine besides Bambu Labs. So many features, they thought of almost anything when they built this machine. The multi color printing is so nice and it auto feeds it though the tubes which is nice not having to feed filament. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste you time or money on cheaper printers because at this price you won’t get any better.

Easy to set up and get started. Can use Bambu Handy app to print without a computer if needed but more options if you use Bambu Studio on a computer. Print quality is great. Definitely a great first 3D printer.
