The best mini series that I have ever seen. Extremely compelling, well done acting and cinematography. Warning, some points are very graphic with gore.

Waited a year to get this on black friday sale since was out.of stock.last year. Already had the DVD box set but wanted the bluray. Very happy

This is an amazing series and a good way for us to see what sacrifices millions of people made in WWII. Best Buy had a good deal on it, so I picked it up.

I watched this quite some time ago and absolutely loved it. Great story telling and war scenes and excellent video/audio on blu-ray. A must watch.

The production quality of this series is just amazing. The sounds are incredible, it's definitely worth viewing with a surround sound system. The story is great, it tells the war stories of Easy company from the 101st airborne division in WWII. Every episode includes a brief (1-minute long) interview with the actual heroes who fought in that company, which I find very interesting and an awesome feature since they give a brief insight on what was going through their minds and what their objectives were for the episode you're about to watch. Couldn't recommend this more, it definitely is a MUST watch for any WWII enthusiast. I myself have watched the entire series over 10 times. It includes an interactive map for every episode which is a great feature to do some research and find out what was going on then. Best Military series I've ever seen, better than ANY war movie you can imagine. You won't be dissappointed. Buy this now.

Well done documentary of one unit's experience in Europe during WW II. Faithful to the book. Extras are excellent. Highly recommended.

This is the Saving Private Ryan of television shows. What more can I say? This show made me HATE David Schwimmer, he was so effective in his role.

I tried to watch this series on tv and commercials would ruin it.. I saw it for a really good price on Black Friday I had to get it.

This movie series is an exemplenary example of great leadership, courage and bonding of men in one of the worst period of our time.

Most of us aren't old enough to remember WWII and how it changed how we lived our lives today. The narrative of this series was backed up by those who are still alive to tell their compelling story at the beginning of each chapter and what they went through to defend our country from Fascism and oppression. The movies and documentaries of today embellish or fabricate the stories of WWII, but I found this series completely different. There's nothing pretty or glamorous about war. The events these survivors told us about didn't need to embellish what happened because it was the God's honest truth. Yes, it was horrid, and brutal and the saddest stain on our humanity right down to the chapter where the soldiers find an abandoned Jewish prison encampment. This series reminds us we should never forget how close the world came to living under an Autocratic rule and what our fallen heros went through to defend those freedoms so many of us take for granted. A definite must see and a cherished addition to any movie collection. Never forget!

This is hands down my favorite series. I own the steel box dvd set, but wanted it on digital. Once I saw it on sale I immediately bought it.

following the characters in this show is enjoyable because they are likable, the story is captivating, and the action is well-produced

Love this video and decided as the Blu-ray version was on sale to buy. As good as ever and with sts so my Dad could also enjoy it.
