This is a great show especially if you're a world war II fan. Can't beat the price that Best Buy had on it either.

I could not stop watching one after the other until I saw all episodes at one sitting all night long. It was riveting.

Hanks and Spielberg weave an inspiring, heartwrenching tale of heroism and horror in this incredible series depicting the real men of Easy Co. We watch these brave souls go from boot camp to the trenches of Europe during World War II. Young soldiers mature into hardened vets in mere days or weeks, transformed by combat, their camaraderie between battles, and the chaos and inhumanity they endure and witness first hand. The soldiers unexpected discovery of a concentration camp is particularly tragic, and their reactions to the survivors, and the neighboring townsfolk who ignored the atrocities, are as authentic as the action scenes. Kirk Acevedo, Neil McDonough, Michael Fassbender, Michael Cudlitz, Ron Livingston, Donnie Wahlberg, Damian Lewis and Scott Grimes stand out among a very fine cast. But the interviews with the surviving soldiers they portray are even more powerful. As compelling as it gets.

The Band of Brothers collection is one of the best mini series about the war ever produced. It rivals most films.

Truly the best of the world war 2 mini series. This was all approved of by the real people who lived through it.

This is a great show. There are parts that are hard to watch. It is very accurate time line of the war.

Band of Brothers is just an outstanding series illuminating the Stephen Ambrose book. We follow an Airborne Company in the 101st Airborne Division as it is formed, sent through basic training and Jump School together, and sent to England together. What I took out of that method of training is that the Company already cared for each other and were therefore more effective when in a conflict. My Father was in the 17th Airborne Division, in the Philippines, preparing to jump into mainland Japan as the leading force into a battle that was expected to generate a million casualties. Fortunately, the invasion was converted to an occupation after Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I was commissioned an officer in the Marines after I graduated from Iowas State and got my Parachuting wings Along the way. Those wings already place you in a different category, regardless of your ultimate position. Watch this series!

This is a great series, along with The Pacific. The quality is great and Best Buy has a great price.
