I am giving 3 stars because best buy has started to outsource their in-home geek squad service. The original geek squad team has always been very knowledgable and helpful. i cannot say the same for the service they outsource. They have no loyalty to the company and their customers.

A Geek Squad technician initially set up my media streaming device with my projector, but it stopped working properly after a few uses. I reached out for further assistance and was informed that Garrett was unavailable until November 3rd, so another technician, Matthew, was assigned. Matthew reached out via text to confirm the setup details, specifically mentioning the Apple TV. When he requested payment, I clarified that the service was still under warranty. After a few exchanges, Matthew accused me of fraud. I am very disappointed with this interaction and request that your team be trained to treat customers with respect. I am happy to share the text messages to the appropriate management team member.

The insulation was fast and the guys seem knowledgeable about what they was doing but now the tv will black out for I second every time the central air would come on.. I don’t know if something is lose. I have yet to call back to geek squad to have them come look at it.

My tv is still not connected properly, even after paying $120 to have it done. I had to "tweak" it myself, and there is a piece that was poorly connected and subsequently fell off. Not thrilled at all. =-(
