My Bose 700 never got paired to work properly until this week.
I paid another person to come out and fix my problem once and for all. All that needed to be done was to use my (Comcast Remote that is voice activated) and tell it to sink up my new sound bar and now it works just fine. The Geed Squad person never knew how to use this feature. He just kept trying manually program it, and it never worked. Everytime I turned off the TV it just kept going back to factory setting. So I didn't get my monies with using Geek Squads services what so ever.

I paid to have my new TV, rear speakers, and sound bar all connected up by the GEEK SQUAD. I was sent a contractor on a Saturday morning. He did not know how to set up the rear speakers, and looked at videos. He boxed the rear speakers up and told us to return them as they were not compatible. We went to Best Buy on Monday and spoke to the LG specialist who sold us the TV, sound bar, and rear speakers. He said they were compatible. He spoke to the manger who gave us a number to call to get a GEEK SQUAD person out asap. We called and got someone who told us you could not request the Geek Squad. Told her that is what we paid for and what we were promised. We were on the phone with her for half an hour. She told us we could have someone out by Tuesday. Then she said no she could not get Geek Squad. Then she said she could. It was a comedy of errors, but at this point it was not funny at all. We got home and I got a text and an email saying that there would be someone from GEEK SQUAD coming out on Tuesday. Then I got a text and email saying it was cancelled. Then We were told it was changed to Thursday. On Tuesday morning the doorbell rang and it was a contractor and not a GEEK SQUAD person. We told him we were last told someone would not be here until Thursday. We welcomed him in anyway as he said he would get it working for us. After quite some time, he realized we had a defective rear speaker set. He went to Best Buy to exchange it. After many hours, he was able to get it fixed and working. We told him about the Thursday appointment again, and he said he would let them know. I got a text and email again about the person coming on Thursday. Finally we got it taken care of and they did not come. Your GEEK SQUAD is a ripoff as we paid to have the GEEK SQUAD show up and got contractors both times. I should not have had to pay for this kind of service when I was promised the GEEK SQUAD and then to put up with all the nonsense of information that is not correct and wasting our time and energy after spending that much money. I am not pleased at all.

Mounted as expected but was sloppy. Unlike other installations, wires were hanging and exposed. Agent claimed he couldn’t run the wire behind the already prepared path in wall which was completed by the home builder, Lennar. I believe the agent was an affiliate and not an actual Geek Squad member.

I had moved and had sound system hooked up. The sound system was hooked up correctly but they were to return to drill hole through shelf so cords could be pulled up through hole and not hanging out front of cabinet. Never returned.

Agent who finally come out was fine on the 14th but I was stood up from my original time of which my appointment was confirmed multiple times by you through text and email, on the 11th between 7am and 12pm, confirmed at the time and one week prior. I called wondering where they are and the person on the phone was confused wondering why they had not come. I waited on the phone for at least ten minutes or more and they came back phone stating they had contacted the driver and the driver had me on the schedule for later and some how my appointment was split up; one appointment to deliver the sound bar and another to install it?! They said they could drop off the sound bar later that day but not install it today after waiting even longer on the phone!!! They could not tell me when that could happen I said no thank I had to leave and if I just wanted it the sound bar without having a tech installing it I would have taken it at the time I purchased it on 2/26/22 from the store. The salesman suggested I make an appointment to have it installed since I have total tech so I took his suggestion. In any event after all the run around with the woman on the phone, I was not certain I even wanted the sound bar. But I did request an appointment the next day for installation and delivery as it was supposed to be. She was unable to do that but she said someone would call me back in this regard.

Replace 20 yo home theatre, reused most speakers (7 + subwoofer), getting 4K and Dolby 7.1.
Works well now, but took 2 Geek trips, and 8 visits to Best Buy. Many complications and cost overruns, but it is great!

$99 for 10 minutes of work...and 2 days later connection failed. We repeatedly contacted Calvin (Anchorage AK), to ask if he could reconnect our Bose base. He responded twice putting us off, but then NOTHING. We've purchased our last two complete Bose sound systems through Best Buy as well as the replacement sound bar. Never again!

We paid for a service fir them to hook a soundbar up. So far 2 months later, it us still not hooked up. They showed up one time and told us to exchange the sound bar and they would come back. We did and they never came back. We scheduled to more times and they never showed. Now they are telling us we need to pay again for us to get service. We are members and pay that membership around 200/year. That dont help. So we are out 309 plus sound bar price. That sucks.

The arriving time was 7am to 1 pm.for In home service. That is too long time interval. Though I had been waiting from 7 am tp 1 pm. The agent called at 1 pm saying he would be late half an hour. But he later called me again that he would be able to come around 2;30pm. At this point my situation was that I had to reschedule it.
But it was extremely difficult to do on online communication. Telephone was robot handling program and it often useless.
I assume The Geek operation may have many complicated things, but it should be more acceptable level.

We had issues with office 365 and be billed but did not have it on the computer. We were given a credit for that but paid 149.99 for the Microsoft student edition. Once installed everything was fine.
