After a half dozen no shows and no calls, I finally got my working soundabar installed. Gentlemen who eventually came to my home were courteous and skillful. I made literally a dozen trips to store to rectify horrible situation. Missed days of work waiting for deliveries that never came. Phone system for customer service is the worst I’ve ever seen. Everyone I spoke to in store were as helpful as they could be but one department has no idea what the other is doing. The fact that their is no one answering phones in store led to my dozen plus trips. As a loyal customer since Best Buy opened, you really need to do better.

I am a loyal Best Buy customer. I left Nashville and relocated to Kansas City. I needed my Best Buy purchased home theater re-connected and set up. When the tech arrived, he immediately called for help to lift my 65" TV onto the stand. He complained the whole time. Help arrived in 5-10 minutes. The tech quickly connected the components but informed me that the speaker wires for the rear speakers were missing and he couldn't connect those. I asked if he could sell me some new ones and he abruptly said "NO". I told him I would run buy some at Nebraska Furniture Mart two blocks away if he could drill holes and run them under the floor like they did in Nashville. He said he didn't do that! I asked if he would have Geek Squad call me to get me some help. He mumbled "yeah". You can check the log, he was out of here in 30 minutes and that cost me $199. I still have not heard from anyone about hooking up my two rear speakers. Will you please have someone contact me?

The people came to my house to install my soundbar. I did most of the work myself; I just couldn’t take down the TV that was installed the last time from Best Buy. (Too big for one person). They told me that they’re not here to take down a tv, just here to install a soundbar. The soundbar was going on a table, not on the wall. How would you install a soundbar if you can’t remove the tv. It made no sense. I would have done it myself but the tv is so close to the wall I can’t get my hand behind it to place then hmi cable in the back.

Unfortunately, the GS tech was unable to connect the Bose sound bar when setting up new TV. The function had to be completed by TV provider tech. However, he was able to complete the balance of TV set-up (newly purchased) as well as mount to wall. This review focused on sound bar only.

Again, I was oversold on this item. I didn’t need a big speaker told him I was in a condo that was small. I ended up returning it. Not geek squad’s fault they didn’t install it. They were great.

I have had 3 separate appointments trying to get a soundbar installed. The first appt showed up and “wasn’t aware it was a wall-mounted install”. The 2nd appt showed up and said they couldn’t install because they needed a different racket. Yesterday I was AT THE STORE and set up install for today. When I called to verify this morning, I was told we weren’t on the schedule. The install people at the store on 22nd st. In St Pete are completely incompetent. Use a small, locally-owned company for your installations rather than these buffoons.

Technician mounted sound bar so we have to point the cable remote behind the tv to turn it on/off and control the volume. He left his card and number to call if we needed him to come back for any reason. So I called, and he never returned my call. I called Best Buy to get a different tech and was told I’d have to wait over a month to have someone come and fix it. Ugh! The tv is mounted on the mantle and the extra cable wire is attached at the top back in the middle. I’m elderly and can’t get up on a ladder and do it myself. I’m going to try to get a friend to come and fix it. I’ve never had a problem with Geek Squad before. Usually, they go above and beyond to make sure I’m satisfied with their work. This is a first!

I expected Geek squad to not only connect the power and an HDMI cable, but to set up the optimal settings for the LG C3 TV that this was a matched LG sound bar with. Instead, they installed both, turned them on, and handed me the remote saying it works. I assumed they had some level of expertise or would at least go through room optimization feature or show me the settings. Instead, they are on a time frame and although were polite and took good care not to track in dirt and to clean up after themselves, I guess I expected more.

The agent mounted the TV, added the Flex unit. It looked great until he left and we tried to use the Flex, it caused other components to fail. I could NOT get the agent to return. When i called in, not 10 minutes after the agent left, all i got was the run-around. I paid for the Geek Squad, i just hope they are more helpful if/when i need them but i am regretting this purchase
