They required payment in advance toconnect a new smart tv to my home theater.They sent a contractor ( not geek squad). After three attempts they did not complete the task but refused to refund my money. I had to pay for a different company to complete the job. Best Buy has still not refunded my money. I’ll never buy anything from them again.

Geek Squad has good, bad, and ugly. Sometimes they are super nice and polite, but also have had uncaring, rush- job staff and have needed for them to come out to the house again to answer questions about products I purchased from Best Buy. Am about to give up on them for good. Only reason I continue to shop there is convenience. Otherwise, they are pretty mediocre regarding service.

I have Total Connect, soubdbar was originally sched for install 1/7/23. I received a text appt was changed to 1/11/23, scheduled between 11 and 2pm. By 3:30, nobody showed up, i called and was told they are running behind but will be here soon and tech would call within 20 minutes. Nobody showed and i called again at 6:30. I wss told tech running late but was promised they would call me on their way and be here by 8pm. Again NOBODY SHOWED AND NOBODY CALLED ME ALL DAY! I am very disappointed and upset that I was not given the courtesy of a phone call. I will not recommend Total Tech to anyone, as their "service: is totally unacceptable.

We were told that we would be contacted the day before the scheduled delivery to narrow the time. When we called to ask, we were told it needed to be rescheduled. On the day before the 2d scheduled delivery we were again not contacted & when we called to ask were again told it needed to be rescheduled . Neither time were we even notified that the delivery was canceled. We lost 2 days of work & could not afford to lose a 3d so canceled & made the $1,000.00 purchase somewhere else. Inexcusable- done with Best Buy.

Although the contract company arrived within the time window....They were not very professional, helpful or representative of normal BEST BUY contractors. They took off my old sound bar from the wall and mounted the new one before handing the TV. Once the TV was mounted, the sound bar was not centered so they had to now move it leaving a big hole in the wall from their original mounting??? Once everything was "set up" it was almost a bother for the contractor to go through the features (which we only did the minimum basics) and told me to use my FIOS remote just like with my old TV....NOT THE CASE! I am sorry I tipped both of them and WILL NOT EVER LET THEM INSTALL ANYTHING IN MY OUSE AGAIN! RATING F MINUS

No matter what others say, setting up a universal remote can be a pain in the neck for fat thumbed, easily frustrated people such as I. Geek Squad made it look easy and spared me a lot of grief. Many thanks.

Jason and Kent installed and mounted tv’s but did not want to install wire covers. After I questioned them they decided to finish the job. I also purchased a surge protector, Jason threw away my surge protector box, receipt and warranty. I had to climb in my garbage dumpster in my complex to retrieve these important items. Throw away what you bring.
