Contractor had to finish installing since they got there after the Geek Squad Mounted but not fully connected. Moved another system and just stuffed wires. Very sloppy. The Geek Squad better team.

After returning to fix a problem with no sound from the audio system when streaming Amazon Prime we discovered that the cable signal no longer works with the TV. We still do not have a functioning system. I texted the technician to return and finish the work but as yet no reply. When I have time which is very limited with my work I will have to come into the store to arrange for the Geek Squad to return. It took four weeks waiting for the installation and now has been a few more with an poorly functioning system. Seems that when the set up is completed the techs should to a full functional test to make sure all is working.

I have to wait 30 to 60 seconds for the volume to come on with this sound bar and that is ridiculous the tech that was here just it was just because, unacceptable.

Just had my basement redone because of a flood. TVs and soundbars were already hung by my contractors. Called geek squad to connect soundbar and speakers. Tech came and called me wanting to know what to do. Red Flag #1. I expected my speakers to be set up in optimized way to enjoy my surround sound. All he did was turn on speakers to make sure it worked. 2nd soundbar he says needed optical cable. Shouldn't he have one Red Flag #2. He was gone in 15 mins on 2 soundbar installs. Total rip off
I even paid $200 for the total protection plan. Where were the helpful techs that made suggestions and adjusted everything? Not at my house

I was told I needed this for sound bar calibration. When they installed it, all they did was plug it in. This was not needed. I went to the store and they issued a refund.

The physical installation was fine and easy inasmuch as the area was prewired. The tech showed me how to turn the AV system on and coordinate with other components. He merely adjusted the system capabilities to "his experience" settings. He did not use the built-in adjustment procedure for the receiver. Now having issues with sound clarity but unsure of what or how to adjust. No training regarding adjustments. Zone 2 speakers will not turn on. System says they are on but no sound. The individual components are great, I think, but I really don't know how to maximize the experience. Not a significant difference in sound experience for TV, movies or music despite the $$. Was expecting more!

This particular agent did a fantastic job on theater installation.
Another agent that "set up" my computer was a total disaster. Did only 1 of 16 tasks listed in the service. She also ruined my telephone system, attempted to install a fax what fried my analog to VOIP box, installed an interface for printing that was deficient, not even listening to my instructions, refused to test any of her work, and found repeated false excuses that were false to leave the job immediately

The sound bas was the wrong type for my new TV. It was not purchased at best buy. However I paid $88.00 for the squad to setup and that could not happen.

Geek squad refused to come and install the sound bar. After canceling several appointments they finally said we do not install sound bars. Seems like those who schedule the appointments would know this information. They also failed to deliver the sound bar after scheduling deliveries twice and not showing up. I finally had to make arrangements to one up at the store. One is probably too high of a rating for their service.

The service to install the BOSE soundbar had been pathetic. The tech walked away from first installtion appointment saying it will take BOSE long to install update. We had to reschedule second appointment and it was just a site survey, no corrections were made. When I called again the CS said that she opened a review into the installtion and a manager will call me its more than 48 hours and I have had no contact from any best buy manager. So unprofessional. DO NOT RELY ON GEEK SQUAD THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX ISSUES WITH HOME THEATER

Did not balance the home theater system

The audio connections within the home theater system were all that was done. I was unexpectedly charged a separate fee for the setup of Zone B. With a new receiver, I believe that the system should have been balanced as paret of the audio setup.

According to the Basic Audio Setup description on our site, the service would cover a Geek Squad Agent connecting your audio components to a surround sound speaker system or sound bar in a single room. If Zone B was in the same room as Zone A that you initially came to us for, I recommend calling (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778 so they can look into your options.

Continue to have a problem with the sound bar. The voice is not syncing with the lips I even change my cable company and it’s still happening on ABC mostly. So I don’t believe it’s the cable company. I think it’s the sound bar which I’d like to throw out the window very very discouraging. Will go to Best Buy to see if I can return this. Geek squad has been here but problem still persist so I don’t think it’s them
