quite simply this has been the worst purchase experience of my life as I ordered it twice and both times the soundbar didn't work. BOTH TIMES! The Geek Squad was great but Total Tech doesn't communicate well with them nor does Best Buy and so the whole experience has been hellish and I was asked both times that I should return the item which was absurd considering it didn't work and it truly is up to you to return it and not to make it difficult to get an exchange.

The first person that came in December sat with me and showed me and helped. He was great! However, the problem still existed so I called to have Geek Squad come again, The two men didn’t help or talk. Didn’t fix problem at all. I would ask them a question and they didn’t talk. I told them I would call again to get someone else to come to my home to fix the issue. They were horrendous and rude. One tried to be nice after I said they could leave but still didn’t fix the problem. Worst service experience ever!

I made the appointment for Saturday to re connect a old surround sound system they came on Friday expecting to hook up a soundbar. my aunt was home so let them in with me on the phone they hooked it up but now its all messed up... cant hear netflix movies on the tv sound i called Nigle back he said he would come and fix it and never showed and will not return my calls so now what someone else has to fix it

The guys who came out were accommodating and friendly.
Best Buy charged $99 to test our Bose sound bar. These employees tried to turn it on and said it did not work. That was it. $99 - no testing beyond that. There was no technical testing beyond on/off. The other charge was 49 to set up sound bars which they said did not work, so they charged any way - nothing to set up- of course how could you set up sound on non working sound bars. A call resulted in no reply. They have are non-responsive - do not follow up - they have your charge card and that is the name of their game! I do not recommend. The techs they send out are limited beyond hanging a tv on the wall. I doubt they post this review!

I scheduled an appointment to have someone from the geek squad come to repair the tv sound bar that was installed by the geek squad, since it was not working correctly. When the tech arrived, all he did was ask me for new batteries, to which he replaced the old batteries in the remote and supposedly changed some setting on the TV. When the TV was put on later that evening, the sound bar still was not working correctly. Currently, the sound bar is still not properly working. I’m extremely dissatisfied and beyond frustrated. This was my third attempt at getting this sound bar fixed and nothing has been accomplished.

Horrible experience and do not think I should be charged. Two agents were unable to synch the sound board and TV and they left me with two remotes to use. I could have just plugged the sound bar in myself. That is basically all they did. My overall service with Best Buy since moving to Ocala, Fl. is horrible at best. The store is mis-managed if managed at all. The check in system does not work. Folks are not available to help almost anywhere. Etc....

A total waste of my time
I had an issue with my surge protector / Line Conditioner
I needed Geek Squad to either repair or replace the unit.
When the tach came to do the job his work order said "Sound Bar" which I have never owned so there was nothing to repair or replace. And I was still charged the $ 79.99 for an incorrect work order

I told the person scheduling the appointment several times I need someone to help set up my AV System (surround system) similar to what I paid Geek squad for at my old house, but the technician said he only works on soundbars. I told him same thing as when I was in Best Buy scheduling the appointment that it’s not a sound bar. Audio is only working for cable, but doesn’t work when I switch to Netflix or Amazon prime so I’m very dissatisfied.

Horrific communicationThe geek squad Is impossible to reach by phone so I went into the store and was met with no answers to important questions horrible service I will be seeking a refund on all the geek squad fees and all the extras I paid for I have dealt with Best Buy for many many years and spent tens of thousands of dollars I’m done this was a horrendous experience the only positive experience was when they were willing to take my money

The sub woofer is way to loud for the sound bar, base drowns out everything. Too expensive for what you get.

The agent was here for over 3 hours, he kept on wanting to leave even though job was not done. He did a terrible job but we are not engineers. Today my brother in law who is out of town and an engineer took a look and said it was all done incorrectly. So bad he could of blown our amplifier. I just spend 20 Minutes on the phone with Best Buy and nobody could refund my money. I would like to cancel my membership as well. I see no value in having bad technicians as a service.

However, we can understand why that would be tough to do if the work was done incorrectly, and could have possibly damaged your amplifier. That is far from the experience we meant to provide. Our installs have a 90-day warranty, where we can send someone out to redo the service. That said, if your brother-in-law touched what was installed, it would no longer be in the warranty as we wouldn't be able to verify our work. As far as that membership goes, if the membership you're looking to cancel is our Total Tech Support, you can cancel it within thirty-days of signing up for a full refund. If it's beyond that time-frame, the refund would be pro-rated for the time you have left. Either way, you would need to call 1(888) 237 8289 or 1(888) BEST BUY to get that membership cancelled.

We ask to have our reciever installed. First appointment time came and went, hour and half later they showed up. Came in installed and left. Did not explain anything. Tried to get some information on operation of the unit. The tech reached in the box and said here is the manual. It was not. This is not a plug and play unit, I am very dissatisfied with the service. I will never use them again. Plus the tech scratch the cabinet, did not say anything. Just poor service.

Washer 1st use; did not work....same day as delivery.
On phone hold for over 1 hour. Then could not give me a date to replace within 2 days. Then went to store & Geek Squad said they could not do any better. Beyond their control per Appliance manager. General Store Manager was not in. I am traveling out of town, and now have to go to laundromat to wash clothes .Replacement is now August 4th. Hopefully the new unit works. I feel I should have a discount due to my inconvenience. #1121203963158.
