Had Geek Squad come do a home assessment one month ago. Was told technician would be coming out for installation within the week. Had one call but no followup visit. I have Ring so no GK visits were recorded. Over 10 calls and one month later new home visit needs to be scheduled since original agent entered no notes and the assessment was closed without notes or followup.

Had to call twice to get them to set up. First time said they couldn’t make it after waiting all day for them and making multiple calls to see status of their arrival. Usually not a big deal but when you take off from work it is a big deal. Was told by sales lady that speakers were included which they were not .

They came out to help see if my new tuner was hooked up correctly as it seemed to not push out much power. They said it was hooked up right & only suggested to maybe get new speakers to possibly fix the weak audio output. They didn't seem to want to be there & were short with their responses to my concerns/options. I would like for another geek squad crew to come out with speakers to see if I'll get better performance with them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The third party that came out over complicated things..... There was a point I couldn't even get a straight answer from the individual.... Unpleasant experience

I have to do it myself afterwards. Only the sound bar was connected not the base model.

I really would really have really chose 0 stars if I could’ve. It was the worst experience I’ve had in a long time. This person should not have ever been hired. Could not do even do the simplest task I hired him for. Never before have I heard I can’t do that so many times. If you want the job done do not hire the Geek Squad be smart And call New England Data Tech. They are extremely intelligent, knowledgeable and can clearly get the job do right. You get what you pay for. A bargain is not always a bargain.

The agent at the Collegeville store reactivated the touch pad on my laptop, and was unable to deactivate it. He went to the rear of the Geek Squad area, came back, and announced that there is no way to deactivate the touch pad. Because of dealing with this for the entirety of my appointment, we dealt with none of the issues I came to discuss. An atypical but still unacceptable visit.

Was a waste of money for them to come out they were here 5 minutes and basically did nothing I seemed to set up my speakers and just had to turn them up and yet still charged 189.00 bucks for nothing I should have been given a refund

3 guys came to install our new TV and connect it to the existing audio and video feeds in our home. One guy did nothing. The other two dissed our existing audio cables (RCA) and at first said couldn't be done. Also noticed that we had just switched our internet to AT&T and one of the gurs said that we'll regret it and be sorry. Asked if this was for sure the 4K, and they weren't real sure. Not very professional.

The technician was not able to fix my audio set up. He stated that some of the the speaker outlets in the amplifier did not work which we found was not correct. Someone else fixed the problem with the same amplifier and we realized some basic troubleshooting was not done by the technician (e.g. tracing wires to speakers & connections of all the speakers to amp)

Did not expect a bad service from Best Buy after so many years being a loyal customer. Needed to request several services. Did not get a possibility to talk to anyone in Oakdale, MN. Always sent the call to Asia where they did not know anything about anything. Did not get any help.

I Had a really Strange Experience, I spend $200 to have the technician installed the TV and Sound Bar. But the guy that was installing it didn’t know English very well. I emailed Best Buy to let them know how it went,it was a waste of $200 to not know how to used my TV and Sound Bar. I had to just read the manual.
