The agents mounted my 86 inch screen, soundbar, and 4 surround speakers (the mounting brackets were pre-installed) and connected everything and tested everything nicely.

The team did an excellent job installing both tv mounts. they were very pleasant and professional and confirmed that everything was completed the way I wanted.

They were great, Mark was very helpful and made sure they this is were I wanted by my mountain.

The agents were awesome. They did not mind the dust that my husband did not remove. They used gloves and had on mask.

I’ve been sitting on this review for a month or so with the holidays, and because I wasn’t sure where to begin. I had wall mounted a smaller TV in our bedroom last year, installing a pivoting wall mount, and an AppleTV, but this new TV was larger and I was expecting the “Geek Squad” expertise to set it up right for playing back 4K video and integrating the new soundbar. The two young men who came to do our install were friendly, polite, clean and efficient. I had purchased new HDMI and Ethernet cables for the install, and the Geek Squad team took down the old TV, pulled the new cables (the team leader said that he would leave one old cable as a pull for future cabling, the right thing to do, but he didn’t), repositioned the wall mount, and put the new TV in place. At this point, it was nice to have the new TV in place, but I could have done as much with my neighbor for a six pack of beer. What came next is where I expected the “Geek Squad” to shine, to get the HDMI cables into the appropriate ports, set the HDMI ports properly, offer guidance on the video settings to get the best video images, and connect the sound bar with the center channel feeding through the TV’s speakers as recommended by Sony. This is what I paid $300.00 for and, in retrospect having completed the setup myself, this is where it all fell apart. After going through the setup menus, I found that the HDMI cable from the AppleTV had been connected to HDMI Port 1 when it should have been connected to Port 4, and Port 4 needed to be set to “Enhanced format (Dolby Vision)” to make best use of the Dolby signal from the AppleTV. Isn’t the role of the Geek Squad to be on top of this. The guidance I was offered on video settings to get the best video image for this OLED screen was to Google it. Of course, I did that and the TV has a beautiful image. But, with no thanks to the “Geek Squad.” I brought them in seeking expertise, I got nothing. I asked about using the TV’s speakers as center channel for the sound bar, which I had read in my initial research was recommended by Sony. I was told by the Geek Squad team leader that doing so would introduce an echo, and he did not recommend it. He claimed that localization of the voices to the screen would not by missed when using the sound bar. Following the installation, I reviewed online recommendations for using the TV’s speakers as center channel, and confirmed that it was recommended. So now, with the TV hanging on the wall, I had to fish another cable through the crowded chase behind the wall, with no pull string, to make the connection. Needless to say a “royal pain,” but after some sweat and foul language I was able to get it done. In the end, using the TV’s speakers for the center channel worked beautifully, and was the right thing to do. As I went through this set up, I was surprised that the sound bar didn’t have a remote, but was able to use the TV’s Settings menu to complete the setup. A few days later, I found the sound bar remote tucked on a shelf in the TV cabinet, below the TV. You might think they would have mentioned it. So here again, I thought I was paying for expertise to provide the best experience from my purchase, and again I didn’t get it. The bottom line is that I don’t know what I paid for. The “Geek Squad” team installed the TV on our wall. I’m thankful for that, but I didn’t need them to accomplish that task. I was looking for technical expertise, and they either didn’t have it, or chose not to provide it. Either way, paying for this service was a waste of money.

Never had TV mounted on my wall, but having grandchild, decided it was a must have. Stands on this tv are not very stready. Afraid it would flip over over too easy

The agents came on time an performed the new TV set-up. Explained the functionality of the remote and the features of the smart TV. Cleaned up all of the boxes and debris.

Quick, careful and meticulous workmanship on mounting my TV. The Greek Squad cleaned up afterwards and asked whether to keep or take the boxes.

The gentleman who came out to install the bracket took his time to measure the space and make sure the TV hung exactly as I wanted it to. He even had a few creative ideas which I appreciated.
