Poor Service by Third-Party Installers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy sent a third-party installer (this isn't revealed to you at all during the purchase or installation process) who completely mismanaged installing a large TV over my fireplace. The end result was a TV which was half a foot off-center, a mount which was not properly installed or tightened, and damage to my mantle, since the installers left the heavy TV resting its weight on the mantle piece, angled down, and left gouges in the wood. I scheduled a follow-up appointment, which was handled by Best Buy employee technicians who were amazing. They were horrified by how poorly the TV was set up the first time, and had everything fixed and wrapped up quickly. I'd recommend checking with Best Buy to see if you're getting actual Geek Squad employees, or a third-party vendor who could care less about your or purchase.
