Horrible service. We ordered this mounting service because our TV had been unlevel the past few years. Third party techs came out on Monday to level it and to hide cables behind the wall. We were told by the Geek Squad agent that made the appointment - “in-wall mounting and appropriate equipment is fully included”. The techs mounted the TV unlevel again and refused to hide cables behind the wall because it wasn’t written up on the work order, even though we explained that we were told it was included and also written in notes. I called Geek Squad that night and the agent made a next day appointment to fix the leveling and hide the cables. Tuesday comes and it’s a no-show… Call again to reschedule, and again the agent states that it includes hiding of the cables. Wednesday comes and it’s a no-show. I call again and they state that it’s been rescheduled for Friday and that hiding of the cables is included. Friday comes and it’s a no-show. We truly talked to about 10 different agents over the course of that week and ALL indicated that cable hiding was included, was in the notes, and that they are “so sorry” the appointment keeps not happening. We call again Friday night to figure out what in the world Best Buy is going to do to help us after $215 for this appointment and $285 for in-wall hiding equipment and three no-shows, all of which required extensive scheduling on our end with work and a baby. This new tech scheduled a Sunday morning appointment for actual Geek Squad agents to come out for remounting and cable hiding, rather than third party. She assured that I would receive an email and text with confirmation of the appointment. Not only did I receive NEITHER, but the appointment never showed on my account. I had zero visibility. I called multiple times that weekend to look up the order number and request that confirmation messages be sent. They all assured me that the appointment did exist for remounting and cable hiding, but could not send an email. So we effectively just had to trust that this appointment was going to happen after three no-shows and after no ability to track the appointment. The Sunday appointment did finally occur, but the refused to hide the cables because it “wasn’t written up on the work order”. We explained that we’d truly talked to 10+ agents that week, that they all claimed that it was included, and that it was all written in the notes. The guy said he’d call his manager and ask, but they came back and said nope they couldn’t do it. I can’t describe how angered I am at this horrible service. To the point where I don’t think I’ll continue to shop at Best Buy, and especially won’t use their services.

The geek squad didn’t do a set up! Setup was done by an independent contractor. I was supposedly scheduled for 7am service but the contractor didn’t arrive until 7pm! Totally disappointed!

Poor customer service, my TV was suppose to be delivered and installed today. I check this morning the delivery window changes to 1130 to 330pm, I check again around 1 and now it has a red box with an exclamation mark. I called them spoke with three different departments, and now there saying they didn’t receive the TV, I asked they didn’t know this ahead of time. Spent the whole morning waiting for nothing. Terrible customer service. I had to talk to three different departments just to find out they can’t complete the order.
